Review: A nice handyman job - Easy to install, I made sure I had the recommended drill bit and jigsaw blade. It is a strenuous job cutting into the tub, and make sure your drill and saw are charged up. My cordless drills weren't up to the job. I didn't even try the messy glue, the plastic just snapped in very tight. I just applied some silicon along the inside and top seam
Review: Life saver - I got this for my wife.I have a fully enclosed fiberglass Koehler tub Unit. I was hesitant of cutting up my tub unit myself, but the cost for a contractor to do it was too costly for mesas this was a lot less expensive than installing a new shower unit. I had to buy one tool (hand grinder) to do this this job, $99.00 which I needed. They give you all the stuff to eliminate mistakes. Watch the video several times. The only thing I messed up on was the plastic nozzle they give you, I did not install directly into caulking gun like you would the caulking tube, consequently it was most difficult applying the sealer. I recommend this if you are fairly handy with tools and can follow directions. My job turned out well, My wife loves it and the $1500.00 I saved was a great reward. Took me about 4-5 hrs. including clean up to do the job; 3 months to decide if I want to tackle this., finally I said I can do this ... Cleancut $350, Grinder $99.00,My time $000.

**Q: does this item come with the drain hole in the middle and with a left side pipe holes?**
A: No it just slides over the after you cut the tub

**Q: It talk about max tub requirements is there a minimum?**
A: As long as your bathtub does not exceed the maximum tub requirements listed, the product should work on your tub. There are no minimum tub rail width requirements.

**Q: What about a door in the "cutout" so I can still use the tub if needed?**
A: There is no door. You will no longer be able to use the tub.. it turns it into a shower only

**Q: I don't see the altra low cleancut opening?**
A: It depends on your tub. Our regular guestroom tub made the step-through less than four inches from the bathroom floor.

This Bath Tub Accessibility Kit works just great. My husband had to cut it out a little different as our tub was a little bigger in one place and smaller in the other end, he cut it out to fit . The step in was a little to high for me so he built a three inch step for me so its much easier for me to get in. He had to wear safety glasses and a mask. He had a fan to help blow the dust out the window. He thought that the biggest job was the clean up afterwards. We are very happy with the step in shower. Love it So sorry i cant take a picture of it , but it works great.
