Review: Good book and fun to read - This is a really fun book. It is educational too. It teaches kids geography and they don't really know they are learning. It is funny with bright colorful pictures. It is a fast read however it is a MUST reread. Kids reread it again and again. The kids have not seen this book at all in the stores or at the school library. So it is fun to buy this and show them something that they can't buy just anywhere. I would buy this again and other books by this author and in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This is a really fun book. It is educational too. It teaches kids geography and they don't really know they are learning. It is funny with bright colorful pictures. It is a fast read however it is a MUST reread. Kids reread it again and again. The kids have not seen this book at all in the stores or at the school library. So it is fun to buy this and show them something that they can't buy just anywhere. I would buy this again and other books by this author and in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Antics Begin

While Goscinny and Uderzo were still figuring out their characters, this first in the Asterix series is a lot of fun. It's especially a treat for Asterix fans to see the slightly less-refined characterizations, and those who are new to the series should enjoy this introduction to the members of the little Gaulish village who are still holding out against the Roman invaders -- with the help of some magic potion. The Asterix stories are full of silliness, cartoon fighting, and puns, and "Asterix the Gaul" is no exception. Despite being the first, it holds up well and is the appropriate welcome to those who wish to visit with these lovable Gauls.
