Prós: Produtos Nintendo são feitos para durar. O consumo de energia elétrica é mínimo. Possui poucos centímetros de dimensões, cabendo em praticamente qualquer lugar. Preservou bem os detalhes do design do console dos 80s. O controle ficou idêntico ao antigo, com a mesma precisão e sensação ao jogar. E até foi feito com o mesmo tipo de plástico do NES original. Os 30 jogos inclusos são na maioria os melhores já feitos para o sistema 8-bit. Tem como salvar o progresso nos jogos a qualquer momento (muito útil nos jogos mais difíceis). É compatível com os controles Classic e Classic Pro do Nintendo Wii. O console funciona perfeitamente nas tvs modernas, podendo ser alimentado pela saída USB da tv. E para os corajosos, é muito simples adicionar centenas de novos jogos, inclusive de outros video games, através do homebrew, apesar disso invalidar a garantia do produto. Contras: Vem com apenas um controle. O fio desse controle tem menos de 1,0m de comprimento. E para acessar o menu de jogos, é necessário ir até o mini console e apertar o botão de reset no aparelho toda vez. Sugestão: Adquirir cabo extensor para o controle ou um controle wireless. Aproveitar eventuais controles Classic do Wii que estejam largados e acumulando poeira em casa. E quem tiver coragem pode hackear o console para expandir o número de jogos e/ou adicionar botão de atalho para acessar o menu de jogos, sob o risco de perder a garantia do produto.

This is definitely worth it. They finally made a retro bundle that includes (most of) the right games, and it's now finally widely available at it's intended price. Control is perfect, imho. It seems to respond exactly the way I remember the same games playing, and I played most (not all) of them originally quite a bit, as I'm sure most of you did. Mega Man II in particular I thought was a great test of controller response, and it felt great. Not sure why there are negative reviews commenting on control or appearance of the games - it seems very solid, and I love the square pixel perfect mode. The game save mechanism is also pretty good. At any time during any game, you can press the 'reset' button on the base system to return to the home menu. At that point, there will be a little floating square in the bottom left that represents the temp save point of the game you were just in. You can either go back to it and continue playing, or, press down and it will give you the option of permanently saving that as a game save to one of the four save slots for each game. You can either fill an empty one, or replace a previous save. That is, each game can have four separate saves of it's own, not just four total for the system. Some notable games that is doesn't have, sadly, are: Mega Man III, Dragon Warrior III or IV, Tetris, Blaster Master, Castlevania III, Contra. Before you search for a second controller in store or online, if you have any controllers that plugged into your Wii-motes, those should work on this system. Nintendo's site for this system has a page that lists compatible controllers - take a look, there are several. If you have a box of Nintendo stuff, chances are you have one. Yes, the cord for the controller is extremely short - I thought this only added to the nostalgic part of sitting in front of the TV as a little kid for hours. Of course it's not a long term way to play - there are many inexpensive extensions available. My advice on this would be to get over it, get an extension, or get a wireless controller. Just keep in mind how many stock cords come with things these days that you immediately discard for something custom you buy anyway. The sticking point made out of the cord length by some negative reviews is laughable. Lastly - some people will mention roms/emulators and making a better version of all this with a RaspberryPi or similar. Yeah, you can do that - but I'd first ask yourself how much time you're really going to put into these games. There's plenty on here, and it has several good games. My point here is, don't let the "Can do much better with an R-Pi setup with hundreds of NES/SNES/N64 instead of just 30 NES" reviews and comments mislead you into thinking this is some kind of ripoff. This NES classic is a great value with zero setup time (for comparison, it's the equivalent of a new PS4/Xbox game today, and I'd say the hours of entertainment are about equal or more to one of the better games on those systems). It's not a wrong move by any means. R-Pi is a different option for people with different needs. I have a NES classic and I'll probably still make the R-Pi thing. Show less

Nintendo Entertainment System NES Classic Edition Quick Look: Excellent system that comes with 30 games. Great value at $79.99 CDN. Worth a look for anyone who likes retro gaming, or wants to experience these old games for the first time. When the NES Classic was announced, I was very excited. I actually still have my original NES with many games, but there were quite a few on here that I do not own outside of the Mario games, and thus I was very pleased with the selection. Plus it is nice to have backups just in case the originals stop working at some point. The system itself is small and can be held in the palm of your hand. This is a great advantage for storage or transport, but unfortunately the cable length for the controller is rather short. As far as how the system works, the dashboard that displays the games is fantastic and very easy to use. Each game has several suspend points (otherwise known as save slots), so you can have multiple saves. This is especially useful if you have more than one player in the household, and it allows everyone to maintain their saved game. As mentioned before, the selection of games is wonderful. It has several that are hard to get original cartridges of these days, and so it fills a nice gap in that regard. I was overjoyed to own Mega Man 2 again (a game I lost as a child and never found again), and have spent extensive time playing through Final Fantasy. The emulation of the games themselves is essentially flawless. Overall, if you are a gaming fan, this is a must buy. However, don't buy it at the inflated prices of the resellers. Wait for it to come back into stock. La compra fue hecha directamente con AmazonMx y no con terceros, la compre un Domingo a las 11am y llego a casa el Lunes a las 2pm, el envió fue excelente y sin contratiempos, no me quede con ganas de tenerla de nuevo ya que yo la compre en su lanzamiento en el 2016, un detalle es que las consolas de ese tiempo venían con unos sellos en las aberturas y por lo que pude investigar en estas nuevas remezas que saco Nintendo ya no las traen, la consola y sus accesorios están impecables, esto es una compra para todos los nostálgicos treintañeros que aunque ya no tengamos tiempo para jugar nos gusta tener algo que nos recuerde aquellos tiempos....

O aparelho é bem pequeno mesmo, do tamanho de uma fita de Super Nintendo. É muito legal jogar e relembrar bons momentos a frente da tv com o benefício da conexão HDMI. O único problema é o tamanho do fio do controle que realmente pequeno, vai realmente precisar de uma extensão do cabo. Fora isso, diversão total.
