Both of mine died tonight and I love this timer.** A: I won't tell you that I understand the numbers on batteries, but when I last ordered a button battery for a different product, I was told that batteries now are in some cases replacing multiple "old" numbers. So a new battery might be good to replace 5 or 6 different original numbers. I trusted what I was told, and ordered batteries that were listed as the new number, and the new batteries work fine on 3 different products that were on that original list. In my case, all 3 of my products had very different original numbers on the back. They are available on Amazon, at a low cost, and by multiple manufacturers. I haven't had to replace batteries in either of my timers, but I will use the batteries that showed up in my search. The battery you currently have says "LR44G GOLDEN POWER 0%Hg" on the back. The search I did lists multiple brands showing LR44 (without the G), so that is what I will order for my OWN timers when MY batteries need replacing. I like it! ### ⭐ No way to shut off. *by X***N on December 9, 2023* I understand it has a clock but for the people that just want to use the timer part there should have been a turn off switch. Now the thing stays on the all the time draining the battery. Oh and it dont use a AAA or even a AA no it uses a watch battery which is WAY more expensive per battery to replace. Everything else was good but if you want to be replacing the battery a lot buy this. It would last longer if they had a turn off switch. Edit: I just used it for the first time and the timer went off and I turned it off oh like I though I did but no its just flashing and I cant reset it cant get it to stop flashing I changed to clock thinking that would reset it but no its just flashing even when I go back to timer.
