Develop powerful quadriceps and core strength, without failing from not being able to hold the bar. Train the front squat and Zercher movement to the maximum potential with the Get Strength New Generation Boss Zercher Harness Reasons why you must Front Squat... The ultimate exercise for posterior chain and quad development. The Front Squat teaches muscle awareness. Provides easy bar control without stressing shoulder, elbow, or wrists! ยท Allows the widest rack on the body by moving the load out to the front delt! Small and lightweight yet virtually indestructible for years of tough service! Review: Lots of leg utility in a small package! - These are great! They allow you to hit your upper legs in different ways without needing additional machines. Very high quality materials and workmanship. It's a little on the expensive side but well worth it given the amount of utility it offers. I particularly like the angle of the bar holders such that you can lean forward to recreate leg presses in addition to the more traditional front squats. Review: Great for poor shoulder mobility - I have had problems with regular squats since I hurt my shoulder but this does the trick. It's built well and lets me continue to squat without having to contort my arms to hold a bar on my back.

Great for variety
As an older lifter, I have had to make some adjustments to my programming in order to continue training intensely while minimizing wear and tear on my joints and spine. Unfortunately, that means my days of heavy back squats are mostly over. With this harness, I can still have a pretty intense squat session using considerably less weight than I can back squat. It is more quad dominant than a back squat, but still works all the same muscles well enough. The trade off with a harness like this is that it lowers the intensity of shoulder/trap involvement due to it essentially taking your arms out if the exercise. Also, for zerchers, you won't get the same biceps/forearm involvement using the harness that you would when holding the bar on your arms. (The upside is that you won't have the pain of holding a heavy bar on your arms when using this harness...) I've given 4 stars only because it does reduce the multi-muscle group effectiveness of these exercises. That said, it is still a great tool for working legs and back in a different way. A well rounded program will include some other direct work for shoulders and traps anyway. Price makes this one the best choice. It is about half the price of some others I looked at. It is sturdy and well built, and will surely outlast a lifetime of training.

Good stuff! Borderline-mandatory gear!
I've noticed complaints, and am concerned about the bolt poking into the stomach when using it; but haven't noticed that issue. I do wear fairly thick shirts when working out though. The device is much more comfortable than it looks. I'm surprised how much I can move around with it. I attach this to a cable or chain with proper anchoring for extra stability, and can use my arms for balance instead of holding the bar in place. I think sooner or later, you should get something like this for a more conventional lower body strength workout.

Waaaaay too long
Bought the large. Couldn't even use it. Entirely too long. Stabs me in the legs before I can even hit parallel. Plus the edges as sharp as hell. Returning for sure

Awesome piece of equipment!
After my gym shut down due to the virus I immediately started acquiring exercise equipment. After I got a squat rack, I moved quickly to get this item. What a genius product. Now I actually look forward to leg day.

Lower back savior
I love this thing. It does take a little getting used to if you've never done any kind of front squatting before, but using the lower rungs to hold the bar definitely provides a shorter lever arm for your lower back to have to support heavier loads as compared to having a loaded bar on the back of your shoulders. I'm not saying don't do regular squats, but for people like me with back issues or a history of back injury, this is a godsend and still works your core to.
