Necessaire The Body Lotion

Super rich and hydrating. Feels right for the skin. No greasy feel, it absorbs evenly to skin.

Did not want to love this due to the price point, but as someone living in a high desert climate with dry/sensitive skin… this is a winner. It’s hard to find a body lotion that truly lives up to the claims of hydrating for 48+ hours, but this one truly does it. Not only does it dry down nicely with minimal tackiness, but I wake up in the morning still feeling hydrated, and that hydration lasts throughout the day. My skin feels and looks softer even after only using for a week. As a fragrance-free girly, I’m always weary of lotions because when you take away the artificial fragrance most of the time you’re left with a crisco-like or chemical scent instead, but not with this one. The onllllly reason I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because unfortunately one of the claims falls short… “non-comedogenic”. As someone who specializes in acne as an esthetician, I’m so sick of brands claiming that when you can look at the ingredient list and immediately debunk it! It’s so hard to find a truly acne-safe body lotion, and unfortunately this is not the one. HOWEVER, as someone who struggles with body acne specifically on the chest + bum, I will say I haven’t noticed any clogged pores… but overall couldn’t recommend to an acne-prone client in good conscious.

I would say the lotion has a medium thick consistency, but absorbs well and feels lightweight after applying. My one and only gripe is the packaging - the edge of the lotion applicator is a sharp edge which makes applying directly into your skin sometimes uncomfortable. But not the biggest deal since you can just squeeze on your hand before applying.

Plain and simple.....this stuff is Great! It is everything it promises. Feels great on skin, non greasy and makes such a difference for those of us with mature, dry skin. It worked so well I told my sister & she ordered some.

Finally splurged on this cream and absolutely love it!
