Is this normal and ok to put in the tank?** A: It should have globules of product in it, but the product as a whole should not be really clump. Shake it well and it should pour smoothly with round little "balls" if you will, floating out. I have been using this regularly and my most recent ph measure was down near 6.** A: If you are not vacuuming the gravel and doing small water changes on a regular routine even this product will not help balance the pH and alkalinity. A proper pH is usually between 6.5 and 7.2. **Q: is this ok to use w/and at the same time as AquaSafe neutralize chlorine for water changes or use just this one? I assume both are needed am I correct** A: This product does not neutralize chlorine or chloramines. It helps to stabilize the pH and alkalinity in between water changes and prevent nitrates.
