Installed enough of these to cover about 50% of the wall space in my home music studio / band rehearsal space. It's a smaller room, about 13 x 15, and we squeeze five very loud musicians in to play some very loud rock tunes. These panels definitely took the edge off of the room and made an immediate difference in sound quality. I've not tried recording in there since the install, but I'll post an update when I do. Before, it would sound like our singer was singing into a can.As far as install, super easy thanks to the sticky backs. I tried cutting off small portions of the protective backing to reveal just some of the stickum. Just 1" at each corner was enough for most, but not all, of the panels to stay on the wall. Several have fallen down; just cut away more of the backing and good to go.Definitely an affordable and efficient solution for sound deadening. Highly recommend.

Love these. Only put 12 up in a 11x11’ basement room. Decreased reverb drastically. Will be saving up to add more. My daughter had a blast practicing her drums after install.

I was desperate to keep my neighbors from hearing my dog barking while I’m at work. So I tried putting them on the back of my front door. It only muffled by like 10% but I guess I’ll update this if I get another passive aggressive anonymous note.
