Garden environment. Thanks.** A: Hi the pump comes with a positive and negative wire that you can attach to a battery or large enough solar panel with the fittings. The pump is quite powerful so if it is pumping a lot the amount of energy needed to keep going would be more that is usually stored by the basic solar systems. Ive purchased a simple power adaptor costing about £4 off ebay and that runs to pump rather than off the battery. **Q: What height can this pump to?** A: Mine pumps 4 feet up from the bilge to the exit. **Q: Hi can I use a 12v Dc 6amp power supply to run this pump. I want to run it as a pump in my garage floor that sometimes floods with water.** A: Yes. Its intended for boat use in a 12v battery. I installed mine onto the 12v **Q: Can you wire this without a switch? Just direct to the battery ?
