Rawlings Icon arrived on time, actually earlier than stated. I will start with a one "negative" which is the only reason why I deducted one Star from giving it a perfect five stars. I purchased many bats through Amazon: Hype Fire, Louisville Supra, Louisville Meta, Marucci CatX, Marucci CatX2 Composite and Maruccis CatX Connect. They all arrived in their "original company" then it was packaged in Amazon box. Very small thing but that minimizes small dings and scuffs that might happen during delivery process or retrieving process from warehouse. Rawlings Icon did NOT come in Rawlings box but it just came in the Amazon box with wrappers. Wrappers had little rips, scuffs, dings and some oil/sticker stains. But after closely looking at the product, they were more superficial than anything except for one small paint chip on the top of the bat. This is the reason why manufacturers send the items in their own box before amazon package them in their own box, double layers of protection. Either Amazon simply stored the bat without the manufacturer box or it didn't come from Rawlings. Slightly disappointed but it is what it is. Product itself is great. This bat is for my U13 son who plays AAA travel baseball. He likes slightly endloaded bats and this fits just perfect for his likings. He currently games Marucci CatX2 Composite and CatX Connect. He is breaking in his new Louisville Supra to get it ready for the mid season or later season. With Newly acquired Icon, he will be ready for later part of the season or even migrate what he has towards next season. For Drop 5, I believe 32 inch is the max size they produce unless you port over to BBCOR, which is another 2 years away from where we are (Great White North). ICON swings just like SUPRA. It is not heavily endloaded but slightly endloaded to put enough backspin on the pitched balls to create a long flight. Also, now kids are throwing at 70+ mph pitches (especially during US tournaments), it is ideal to have a somewhat endloaded bats to "get through the zone" without getting bullied by the high velocity pitches. However, just like SUPRA, it is not too endloaded thus players have enough barrel control when the pitches are thrown at different angles and velocity. Great bat and great colour. Grip comfort is nice, connector piece is solid looking, end cap is slightly recessed (which I love unlike Demarini) but the taper on the grip can be better. Rawlings should take some sampling from Louisville on tapering of SUPRA. Very happy with the purchase. *********Longevity/Durability to be observed and updated every month. ***My son only uses composite bats for the games or tee works. All the BP and pitching machine swings are done with aluminum/hybrid bats in order to not "ABUSE" the composite bats. It is mostly and heavily recommended NOT to use composite bats for high velocity BP nor pitching machine practice.
