The Gold Standard for Long-Distance Networking
If you’re running 125 feet of cable, you aren’t just looking for "good enough"—you’re looking for signal integrity and durability. The Cable Matters Snagless Shielded Cat 6A is an absolute powerhouse that delivers on every promise. Here is why this cable stands out: Zero Speed Loss: Despite the 125ft length, I am getting a rock-solid 10Gbps throughput. I used this to connect a workstation to a server across two floors, and the latency is virtually non-existent. Superior Shielding (S/FTP): Since I had to run this alongside power lines in the ceiling, I was worried about electromagnetic interference (EMI). The shielding on this Cat 6A cable is top-tier; I haven’t experienced a single dropped packet or "hiccup" in data transmission. Build Quality: The "snagless" protector is firm but flexible—it actually protects the clip without making it impossible to depress. The cable itself feels heavy-duty and premium, not like the thin, flimsy stuff you find in big-box stores. Future-Proof: Moving to Cat 6A now means I won't have to crawl back into the crawlspace for a decade. It handles the bandwidth of today and the upgrades of tomorrow. Bottom Line: If you need a long-run cable that you can "set and forget," this is it. It’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind that your backbone connection is indestructible.

Great and reliable Cat 6a Ethernet
They work great and deliver high speeds with no data lose or connectivity issues. The quality is great and features the for Ethernet standards (Cat 6a) that can deliver up up to 40gb of data. Although the data delivery capacity is likely overkill for many households i still recommend in the case that you decide to upgrade your data speeds in the future you will be prepared with a high quality and capable Ethernet cable. I use this for my internet. The value for the price is great and i appreciate the multiple length that are offered ensuring it captures the needs of many. I ended up buying multiple ones in different lengths. Overall great product from a reliable company

Solid long Ethernet cable for 10Gb-capable runs
This Cable Matters Cat6A cable feels like a good quality option for a longer wired network run. I wanted something more robust than a basic thin patch cable, and the shielding and Cat6A rating make it a good choice for higher-speed networking setups. The connectors felt secure, and the cable worked well for my use. At 125 feet, it is naturally thicker and less flexible than a short patch cable, so plan the route before installing it. But that is expected for this kind of cable. For long runs to a switch, router, desktop, access point, or network appliance, I was satisfied with it and would choose it over a generic no-name cable.

Very reliable cable.
Working perfectly. I previously bought a 50 ft Cat7 flat cable for my 2.5 Gbps link. That flat cable worked intermittently. Often dropped down to 1 Gbps or even 100 Mbps. Very frustrating on the gaming computer! Replaced it with this 50 ft Cable Matters Cat6a and the link has stayed perfectly steady at 2.5 Gbps. Very happy and highly recommend.

Exactly what it says on the tin, decent-to-better grade materials than expected
I'd give it 5 stars, but idk how rugged it might prove over time. Just out of the package, it appears to be superior to the same style Cat 6A white ethernet cable it is replacing, and I feel slightly better about the clips, at the start, than I did for the one it replaces. The replacement, I forced into service 2 or 3 years after its clip broke off, and through the cable cover falling apart in places--it was still working just fine when replaced, but the connection point at the computer had to be rigged, and all the wires exposed from exposed sections of the cable were out of traffic, but ... it needed replaced. This new cable arrived exactly as pictured, exactly as described, and it does seem to be made of better quality materials than the previous. If this allows updates/edits, and 5 years from now it's still tiptop, then it gets 5 stars :) I have confidence it will, but

CableMatters Cat6a, a Great Cable for a Great Price
I'm a retiree who once labored as a marketing manager for a major broadband network equipment manufacturer. (Broadband networks today carry such monikers as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, etc.) Major networks today are all fiber-optics, but in my day they ran on cable. Most (so-called "last mile") sites still do, as they did ten years ago, when I cabled my house with Cat5e cable. Last week, when I came to Amazon to check cables/pricing: surprise! It's all about Cat6a cable now and Gigabit speeds required by throughput demands for network game play and downloading movies, etc. In my house we frequently have XBox360 network gaming, two movies/tv shows, and one networked homework deal going simultaneously. I began to notice that things were bogging down and showing errors, so I decided to add a couple wired nodes and hardwire several others, because while wireless nets are convenient (in a major way!), hardwired nets even in the home are so much more secure and easily provide 2-3-4 times the performance of wireless nets. I read a few reviews of cables and was surprised to learn, first, that the performance of Cat6a cable (550MHz bandwidth) that meets specs is highly improved over that of Cat5e cable (150MHz bandwidth) and, secondly, that there is a wide variance in the quality among cabling sold by Amazon. I did not expect that. As always, several apparently knowledgeable and trustworthy reviewers went to exceptional lengths to "contrast and compare" the products. I came away with the impression that CableMatters Cat6a cabling was the superior-quality cable CableMatters 1000ft Bulk Cat6 Cable UTP Solid In-Wall Rated (CM) 550MHz 23AWG in Red I wanted to use. Now that I have installed it, I can attest that the manufacturing quality is outstanding. Each of four pairs is twisted inside a heavy shield and then the four shielded pairs are protected by a lighter stranded-wire shield. Outer jacket quality is very good. [Because I needed only a few feet of cable, I actually purchased CableMatters 150ft Cat6a 550 MHz SSTP (Screened Shielded Twisted Pair) Snagless Patch Cable in Blue) instead of the cable for plenum installations cited above. I was concerned about the potential quality differences between plenum and patch cable cabling, but I am well satisfied with the presumably more supple patch cable that I installed. As for performance, I first must say that I lack both the equipment and inclination to measure throughput, crosstalk (it's supposedly 12 times better than Cat5e), etc. All I know is that my kid happily (and interminably) blasts away at the bad guys with his buddies on the web AND simultaneously does homework linked to his school, while I can watch a Netflix movie without constant re-buffering, and my wife can do her thing--all because of the speed and error-free performance of our network, which now has a Gigabit switch connected to my older N-series wireless router. I think I can fearlessly face a brave new world of massive downloading for another ten years or so! My net is vastly improved, and I am a happy camper. Be aware, there is a great difference in the quality of cables offered on Amazon. CableMatters makes a fine--one of the better, if not the best--product at an excellent value.

Awesome Cable
It's a very nice well made quality cable, and the connectors fit nicely into the ports on my Xbox and router. I love the fact that it comes in a variety of colors, which makes it easier to identify what they are connected to. It was packaged nicely in a box, and didn't have the crimp marks or cable clamps on it like some ethernet cables do. I have paid a lot more for less quality cables. I can't recommend this cable enough. I willdefintely be ordering more in the near future.

Great and lasting
Used it for years and still works at the same speed. Love the length as you can tidy up things by moving it around the place.

Great cable
I wanted to replace my now overkill 50ft cable with something shorter and shielded to reduce insignificant amounts of emf radiation that "might" be emitting from ethernet cables. The cable ends snap on great, cable feels as sturdy as I could ever want or need and my speeds are stable. I use an Asus RT-N16. This was basically the best priced metal end cat6 cable I could find.
