I'm using as a secondary cooler, but I have plans now to eventually disconnect my primary and run directly from the lower radiator (still needed for winter heat) and go through my filter and straight back to the fluid control thermostat and then onto and into the electric cooler. Pros: Usually does not come on unless I'm towing on 90+ degree temps Cons: None My application: Ford 7.3 diesel with metric trans. I saw where this other fellow mounted back here and it makes perfect sense because if you mount it up front then you're just adding more hot air to what already has to get through your condenser and radiator.
