Small block Ford water pump
I know Gates hoses and belts are good and considering this water pump was made in China I hope it lasts. Just got back from a 600+ mile trip and had zero problems, I guess time will tell, but so far so good!!

88' 302
It fits my '88 302 good. Getting the old one off was a nite mare. 2 bolts almost always break off because they bond to the water lamp and timing cover. A stud remover paid for itself. I still had to drill And tap one. It comes with a gasket . Use lots of anti seize compond.

STOP!!! DON'T GO TO AUTOONE OR ANY PARTS STORE!!!!
I promise you guys, Gates makes some very great things and honestly I didn't even know they made water pumps and after having great experience with the belts from Gates, I decided to order this one no doubt... Sure enough, this bad boy sucks the water on through gracefully and seems more powerful than the crappy remans and so called "New" pumps from a parts store. I say order this without thinking twice and I promise you will not have any issues and it all lines up perfect with no haggling around. This is just me but if I were you guys, order a real water pump gasket. FELPRO!!! This one comes with a gasket but is flimsy and I never trusted gaskets that ever came with any parts, FELPRO or do another water pump replacement within a month if you like.. Seriously the felpro gasket does not cost much. Be sure to order the outer one and inner. I forgot to order the inner but I never had an issue with the inners. It's the outers thats why I go pro... Felpro! All in all, order this bad boy and get on the road again.... You will not be dissappointed

Great factory look and finish. Perfect fit and and came with a gasket, which I don’t think was mentioned in the description. I bought a gasket not knowing one came with the pump and wasted $10. Installed with new bolts because old bolts were terribly rusted inside block after 24 years. Be sure and get those before installing this pump.
