10 Inch Diabetic Case

Got this for my 16 year-old who is newly diagnosed with diabetes. He carries it in his backpack to school. It holds all his supplies including his glucose pen, insulin pen, extra needles, monitor and finger pricker, plus glucose tablets and other small snacks like beef jerky and skittles. It is big, but that is what we wanted so he could keep it all together. It’s very sturdy. He throws it in his backpack and everything is safe. The zipper sticks a little and we did end up removing all but one pouch because they just get in the way and things don’t really stay inside them with the way he tosses it around. We like it though and would buy it again. I feel like it’s great for active kids that just want all their supplies in one place and to throw it in a bag and go without worrying about anything getting broken.

This kit just arrived earlier today and I’m very pleased with it. I’m using it to store my diabetic supplies for travel and thought others doing the same might like to know what all I’ve been able to fit into it. I wear an insulin pump, as well as a Dexcom CGM, which I Bluetooth to my iPhone and Apple Watch. All of this takes a ridiculous amount of supplies! In the largest black pouch, I have an anker 4-port USB wall charger, as well as charge cords for an Apple Watch, an iPhone and my insulin pump. All of the cords are at least 6ft long. In the small black pouch, I have two vials of test strips, as well as extra lancets. In the medium black pouch I have enough alcohol swabs, skin prep wipes, grif grips and tegaderm strips for three site changes of both my pump and CGM. There’s also three sets of cartridges and filler syringes for my Tslim pump in there. In the top netting I have three infusion sets for my pump, two Dexcom sensor sets and a pouch holding random small items. All of this fits neatly into the case and there is still room for me to add a slim pillbox, as well as a mini frio wallet for insulin vials. Hope this info helps! This product was purchased to replace an old, smaller bag used for diabetic supplies. This bag is very nice for carrying my supplies, which include insulin pump supplies and CGM (continuous glucose monitor) supplies, as well as Glucogon kit, extra batteries, etc, I can fit enough to last for a two week trip. I do agree with some of the other reviews that this bag is not right for daily use, but if you wanted something to use fro travel, this works great for me. I noted that the bag design is a little confusing. The logo is actually on the bottom, not the top, so I have to remember to put the logo down when I unzip it...otherwise the three Velcro pouches are on top when I open it loose items fall out. In Summary, PROS: great for travel to carry up to two weeks of pump/cgm/insulin supplies. CONS: Not sized for daily use and logo is on bottom side.

Well constructed and Very Sturdy. A lot larger than I expected description is good but sizing is not obvious! Logo is on the wrong side it is on the bottom not the Top and upside down. Meshing is backwards also on the wrong side opening faces wrong way it puts the pouches on the top rather than the bottom. I am removing the meshing and sewing it in the correct place. Other than the orientation problem it is a great bargain and a sturdy container

This keeps everything in one place for me so easy to grab on way out the door. I removed the Velcro pouches it came with and just have the little bag for glucose meter unzipped and just laying open in bottom half. (Arkay brand) the top half perfectly holds a Frio xl wallet with glucagon pen and 2 insulin pens. Behind the Frio I have some fruit leather and a protein granola bar, plus a zip bag of glucose tablets. The zipper zips smoothly and I have plenty of space still left that I could add more if necessary. I love the stiff outer shell, and feel that it protects things well. I am new to blood sugar management, but this fits my needs perfectly. 100% would order again. We live in the hot, dry SW so being able to hold the Frio wallet was a must! I just leave this unzipped and open laying flat on my counter for home use. It is always stocked so just flip it shut and zip and can dash out the door knowing I have what I need.

I spend a lot of time in a work truck. This bag holds my meter (True Metrix Air), 200 lancets, 100 alcohol swabs, a temp used sharps container (a mentos gum container), a tub of glucose tabs, and 2 packets of test strips. Once everything is ready to go I can just close it, brace the finger I'm testing on top of the case to make sure it's as painless as possible, and go. The Velcro pouches being movable is huge for having everything set into a smooth flow so you can just get the job done and get back to whatever you should be doing.

I ordered this because I could not find another case that was advertised specifically as a diabetes testing travel kit. I agree with other reviewers that it is too big. It is protective as a hard-shell case should be, but the removable nylon bags included with velcro backs to attach to the inside of the case do not work well, and the sizes are wrong - at least for my testing equipment. I have found that a padded "BUBM Electronic Accessories Carrying Bag with Cable Tie, Black-Small" works well for my kit. I previously bought it as part of a three case set from Amazon, but it is available on Amazon as an individual case described as above. I will probably keep this container and use it for something else. One other note - there is a weird square protruding bump on the case inside and out that serves no purpose that I can tell, other than to display a small label with the brand name on the outside. It causes the Velcro backed bags difficult to attach on the inside. I have no clue why it is there, and it detracts from it's value.

My pump has died RIP and awaiting replacement so back on pens. My pump case from Roche is now tatty and far to big but I needed something big enough to hold what’s needed without being a hold-all. This takes 3 pens blood testing kit, ketones testing kit, freestyle Libre swipe machine for my cgm startup, spare finger prick cartridges and pen needles and there’s even room for sons hypostop and glucoshots everything in one place especially when I go camping in z few weeks! A handle would have been nice for ease of carrying and grabbing but that’s not the end of the world and for under £14 is well made so not only very useful but seems very well made, it can be reconsigned inside to suit your needs with Velcro pouches( see phot)

the only thing I would have liked was a handle on the zipper side of the travel case. I will be having my local shoe repair make me one. Otherwise totally love the size & color of the case. Now I can have all stuff in one place instead of 3 or 4 different small cases.

Ich hab dieses wunderschöne Case für mich zweckentfremdet und hab dort alles drin was ich für meine Diabetes brauche. Genau die richtige Größe für Notizheft, Pen, Messgerät, Zubehör etc. und stossfest falls es mal runterfällt. Besonders schön auch das Blumenmuster auf schwarzem Hintergrund. Ich hab es in meinen Diabetesgruppen schon weiter empfohlen.
