This face mask is seriously amazing! Just 2–3 minutes of tapping and my skin looks so glowy and refreshed. I love the results!

Great Weekly Mask
This has been a great addition to my skincare routine. Since it has glycolic and lactic acid, I stick to using it once or twice a week instead of every day. After using it regularly, my skin feels smoother and looks more even. It’s not a miracle fix, but I can see a difference in texture over time. There’s a light scent, so it’s not totally fragrance-free, but it’s subtle and hasn’t bothered my sensitive skin at all.

Facial mask with great chemical exfoliants
I love that this generation has put an emphasis on self-care and face masks several times a week are my form of self care. I get bored using the same products and like to use both sheet masks and gel masks. In my younger years I did not wear sunscreen on my face and now have stubborn dark spots that I am trying to lighten. When I came across this Versed resurfacing face mask that specifically mentioned dark spots I decided to give it a try. The mask comes in a tub with a screw off lid. When opening it there is a cover to keep the product in the tub so that it doesn’t get messy. When I opened it I immediately thought of gelatin. It has both the look and consistency of gelatin that has been put through a blender or finely chopped. One of my favorite things about the Versed brand is that each product gives very detailed instructions regarding how and when to use their products. This mask can be used 1-2 times a week. I used my facial spatula to scoop some of the mask up and spread it on my entire face. It says to only leave it on for 2-3 minutes which surprised me but it did absorb quickly. While waiting the 3 minutes I did feel that the mask had a slightly sticky texture. After 3 minutes I washed it with cool water and my skin felt soft and smooth. Dark spots on my face are my biggest issue right now but I also love that this face mask includes glycolic acid, lactic acid, AHAs and BHA’s. I have found that chemical exfoliates work best on my skin and do not redden or irritate it and this product is no exception. While I haven’t used it enough to see big results I do feel like it made my skin look better. At this price point I can continue to use the product a couple times a week. Overall I like this mask and the fact that I can use it quickly. I am hoping that after time it will help lighten my dark spots via chemical exfoliation. This product includes all of the ingredients that my skin loves and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good self care facial mask.

A little blob of this jelly-like mask goes a long way
This little jar does not come with a little scoop or spatula so if you don't like putting your fingers directly in, you'll need to provide your own utensil for getting the lumpy, gelatin-like stuff out. It has a very slight musty scent to it, but it's very light, I can only pick it up when I sniff the stuff directly and not when it's on my face otherwise. This goes on clear and after waiting the 3 minutes, I've found that it's still slightly tacky and clear on my face. When you introduce water to it to rinse it off, it doesn't change color at all either nor does it foam up at all. Unless I'm missing something, which is possible since my eyesight is pretty terrible without my glasses which are obviously not on during this process, there's no easy way to see where the mask is still on you skin besides by feeling around. When it's wet, it feels slightly slimy so you can keep feeling your wet face for that sliminess and know that you need to rinse more in that area. After completing rinsing & drying off, my skin feels pretty smooth and ready to continue one with the rest of my skincare routine. We're not supposed to make any medical claims or such things in these reviews, but I will say that I do like how my skin feels after I started using this product. I'm pretty acne prone and have plenty of spots and scarring. I'm not sure if it's just wishful thinking or not, but I do think that some of them are looking a little less obvious, but at the very least, I can confidently say that I'm not having any more breakouts than usual, so it's at least not adding to the problem.

Affordable and Effective
I have used this Versed face mask a few times now, and am always surprised by how soft it leaves my skin feeling. It's a gelatinous clear orange goo and is a little weird to use. It's a tub, so it would have been nice if there was a scoop of some sort included or a pump dispenser, but it's not a big deal. I leave it on for about 3 minutes before showering and it rinses easily. There's absolutely no tingling, so I figured it wasn't working, but it really does help with smoothness. I haven't noticed an lighting of dark spots, but I could imagine it working slowly over time. It's very gentle compared to other masks and actives of this sort, and has mostly beneficial ingredients. The only questionable ingredient is the potassium hydroxide (lye), but it's at the end of the list so there is likely a very small amount and I haven't noticed any irritation from it. If it continues to work as well as it seems, I would probably order this again.
