I turned on the hood. I did not feel the air suction. Is that normal?.

That doesn’t sound normal. Turn it on when you are not cooking, you can feel the air suction by putting your hand close to the ventilation area, and when you are cooking, you can clearly see the cooking oil fume being sucked into the ventilation. Hope my answer is helpful to you.

Is the range hood include stainless chimney for 8' ceiling?

There is no extension included with the hood. I mounted mine under the cabinet. Hood exhaust is 6" diameter.
