The chemical smell is SO STRONG, full of chemicals for sure. I let a few of them sit outside under the sun for one week. Unfortunately, they smell the same as when i got them. I feel extremely uncomfortable using these in my kids' rooms, or anywhere else for that matter, because of the smell and chemical they emit. Completely toxic probably. I think it's the strongest plastic/rubber chemical smell I have ever smelled.
