The only disadvantage is that it records a LOT OF BACKGROUND NOISE. You have to have proper sound isolation if you want this to work perfectly. I used it in a small room where i kept my PC. It was recording each and every sound including the sound from other rooms and the outside noise. The sound from my CPU was the main problem for me. So if you are purchasing this, keep it away from all the possible sounds, or invest in a proper microphone isolation shield.Latency was also a bit of a problem as I don't have an audio interface. If you have a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you can minimize your latency. The microphone stand is very small and cannot hold extra weight like a big pop filter. Overall this mic is very good considering the acoustic and vocal recording.
