Great, durable gaming controller!
It's very silent...even when you're pushing multiple buttons. Easy setup and charge: get the changing station as well. It's not cheaply made, and for those of us who enjoy the directional pad for games, it's very smooth and will not hurt your thumb after playing it on retro games like Sonic, Mario, etc.

Best of Brand Controller I've ever used
Seamless connection with my PC. No additional app downloads needed. Works great for all my games on my computer and you can feel the difference in quality and vibrations compared to other off brand controllers. Great trigger response and no button delay.

Makes a great Polymega controller!
For those of you who purchased the Polymega retro gaming console, you know that it is a fun device that allows you to upload your favorite classic games (NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Playstation, etc.) and play them via emulation using your original game discs/cartridges. With that said, I have always felt that the universal controller that was offered for the Polymega has issues with input lag (especially with using the 2.4ghz dongle instead of wired). As a gamer, this can be extremely frustrating when the buttons pressed do not respond as they should when compared with the respective original hardware controllers. To top it off, the Polymega is limited on which 3rd party controllers are compatible with the device (it requires X-Input). I have tried various 3rd party controllers which did not work for me. The only one that seemed to work okay was the 8bitdo Pro 2 controller. However, I personally do not care for the Playstation-style design and prefer the modern Xbox controller. Fortunately, I tried this controller and was pleasantly surprised to find that it works perfectly with the Polymega console. I first used the provided 2.4ghz dongle for wireless play and I noticed that the input lag was much improved over the universal Polymega controller (even the newer WC02 model). To be fair, I tried using the EasySMX X05 Pro Wireless Controller in wired mode and noticed that there was no input lag to speak of (or least none that I could tell). When you plug in the controller to your Polymega (via the 2.4ghz dongle or wired) it will be recognized as a universal Polymega controller (make sure to have the switch on the back of the controller set to 2.4ghz). As for the controller itself, it is very well constructed (for the price) and feels natural to hold. The buttons all respond well and I was happy with the D-Pad operation (in which the D-Pad is used heavily in most of the emulated game consoles that Polymega offers at this point in time). I also played around with the controller briefly on my Windows 11 PC. I used the dongle and there were no issues and it worked well. I highly recommend this controller, not just for the Polymega, but for gaming in general, especially if you are looking for a less expensive solution than an official Xbox controller.

Perfect Size, Precision, and Value
I’m not going to go over every feature, because that would take too long, so here are the main points. Size: Perfect, in my opinion. Most Xbox-style controllers are on the larger side, which can make fast gameplay and certain grip styles harder to use. This one is slightly smaller and feels ideal in the hands. Hall Effect Joysticks: The Hall effect sticks feel extremely precise, and the option to use zero deadzone completely removes any sense of input delay. Everything feels instant and accurate. Extra Buttons: The additional “M” buttons next to the bumpers are perfectly placed. They’re easy to reach and feel natural to use without accidental presses. I bought two name-brand $150 controllers to compare against this one, and to my surprise, I returned both. This controller simply feels better overall and punches well above its price.

Great controller if you don't mind frequent charging
So far, so good. Of course, I cannot confirm if this is truly a Hall Effect controller, as I am not going to open it and dissect it to check. But so far the analog sticks work great. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, and I appreciate the extra buttons and modes. I like that it charges/connects with USB, and I like that in addition to wired connectivity, it can also connect via Bluetooth or the USB stick included with it. My primary gripe is battery life. With my old Xbox One controller, I was able to go over a week between charges, but this controller seems to need recharging every couple of days. I do find that disabling the RGB lighting increases the play time between charges, but only by a day or so. It still doesn't rival the play time I got from my Xbox One controller, and I really wish the manufacturer didn't skimp on the battery, but I'm hoping the durability and longevity of the Hall Effect analog sticks make up for what the product lacks in battery life.

Crap.
Says no set up, just plug and play...Great! Connects to PC. But thats it. Does not work with any game I try it with. This is what you get for $25 now. Why even sell this?

The silent delight!
If you’re looking for a game controller that you can lay in bed at night and play and not disturb the person that you’re sleeping next to this is the controller for you. The trigger buttons are soft and don’t make a lot of noise. The actual buttons themselves are very dampened and don’t make a click, but they make more of a third when pressed the sticks make no noise when you are rotating them around and it has programmable RGB lighting, which you can adjust with the app it also has manual connection types based on the slider switch location in the back so when you first connect it to your device, you slide it over to the switch that correspondence to your device and it connects no problem. There’s no dropout and connectivity and the battery life is really great. I get about 15 hours of play between full charges, which is great for me an excellent controller. It feels soft in the hand. It doesn’t get sweaty if you’re playing and it’s hot it is a very well built controller and the firmware is very solid. I’ve not had any issues with button mapping or connectivity to my iPad or my Xbox.

Brilliant controller
Held back on using this until the Switch 2 arrived, as I was desperately hoping this would be compatible. Thankfully, it is - and it was way easier to pair than I imagined it would be. The pad comes with a dongle, but it isn't needed on the Switch 2. Simply connect the pad to the to the Switch 2 with the charge cable, then disconnect. Job done. It is now recognised by the Switch 2 as a pro controller. From there, it has just been an incredibly enjoyable experience. I've only had the chance to use it on Mario Kart World and Zelda: TOTK but it already feels miles better than the original Switch Pro Controller. The sticks are responsive and feel great (I've added some caps just to give them an extra few mm of height and a little more texture), the ABXY buttons are basic looking but work well (no unregistered button presses so far), and the trigger/shoulder buttons work fine, if feeling a little bit lifeless. There is an offer on the X05 (search Amazon - its not on this listing anymore) where the grey version can be obtained at the time of review (07/06/2025) for £19.97 with a further 22% off, making it £15.57. I don't believe you will get a controller this good for cheaper. The price is so good, I'm going to get 3 so that everyone can play MKW at the same time. Outstanding value for an outstanding controller.

Good quality controller with both Bluetooth and a 2.4Ghz USB adapter for broad compatiblity
At £22 at the time of writing, this is probably the best controller out there for PC, iOS and Android (and good for Switch too). Features not only cable input via USB Type-C, but is fully wireless using both Bluetooth AND includes a handy 2.4Ghz adapter for those without Bluetooth. Whilst USB offers the lowest latency with high polling, Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz are absolutely fine too. It feels very well made, whilst all plastic, it just feels very solid. Features a nice large D-Pad with responsive inputs, triggers and bumpers. The main feature are the hall effect sticks which are just more precise compared to the mechanical ones found in Xbox, PS and Switch controllers, plus are far more durable. Stick drift is basically non existent. The sticks feel great to use as-is, but it also includes a set of caps that add some nice texture to it without feeling clunky. The RGB is nice, not over the top - just nice rings around the thumb sticks. They can be switched off, or customised to a certain extent by hitting the "M" button twice. Brightness and colours can be easily selected, but nothing too advanced. Battery life is great, I've been using this for a few days out of the box for maybe 20 hours total, and not once have I had to plug in a cable (except for 30 mins of testing direct cable connection).. hopefully I can squeeze out many more hours before it needs recharging. This is a very good third party controller to pick - amongst the best alongside 8bitdo and Gamesir.
