I have been using these for a while now and they are terrific. Tough under pressure and use - they hold up. The pages are great to write or draw on - paper is fairly thick. Worth the investment.

I really am quite pleased with so many things about this journal. The paper inside has a great quality in terms of how the thickness of each page is impressive since while writing in it I haven't experienced my pens bleeding through or if I am a person that uses more forceful writing so I am pleased about that. Also the color Black option suits me in terms of being preferable as an option I wouldn't want another color. I love to write in it every day and the binding is tight so between the page thickness, durable binding, color and the abundant page count of 160 pages I also think the size makes it easier to carry with me in different size bags and pocket books giving me everything I could expect in a 5.6 inches by 8 inch journal. I love it and this could be perfect for non serious writers to jot down all of their various passwords or just having a nice book to remember a favorite quote or books you want to buy when Kindle has a double points rewards day. The usefulness for each person is different and personal. I want to order two more for keeping my own information organized. That this item is the same one I'd order again.

No difference between this and a much more expensive notebook. It comes with stickers for the cover and spine when you want to archive it, and a paper pocket in back. The cover is very sturdy, and it does lay flat with some help. The paper is thick and opaque and doesn't show felt, ballpoint, or gel on the other side. I haven't tried markers or paints. Good value.
