Great comedy. Very enjoyable.

McConaughey is a 30+ still at home, his parents (Bradshaw & Bates) hire Parker as a girlfriend to encourage him to move out. She then ends up falling in love with him, but he ends it when he finds out what her job is. Do they work it out? I won't spoil the end of the film, what kind of a girl do you think I am?! This is a real middle of the road film. It's a good concept, which fuels the story along as to when he'll move out & as we realise Parker's hung up on him. There are some really funny moments, especially with Zooey Deschanel as Parker's flatmate. The pacing is fine. But I didn't love the ending, they get locked in a room together in the hope they'll work it out...?!! It's just not enough of a climax for me hence missing a star.
