It was perfect for my needs and a very reasonable price. Shipping packaging was excellent. The edges of the frame were covered in a foam wrapping to protect. Both sides of the plastic are covered in a protective film. You wouldn't want glass as it's very heavy. The backboard is held by ingenious fasteners the clip into a ridge in the frame. It really holds the poster in place perfectly. Haven't hung the poster up yet but I couldn't be more pleased with the frame. Last custom framing I had done cost me $250! Can't say enough about this frame. 50cm x 70cm was the exact size of my poster.
