The Square trays produce a mini large block of ice which kept my drinks cold for a very long time compared to smaller normal sized cubes. The round one was very interesting. So much so, I had to come here to read reviews to figure out how it worked. I bought some Kiwi and froze them in the round cube tray last night. I woke up this morning and placed one in a glass with luke warm water. It worked perfectly and I can't wait to try other fruit combinations!Next I'll be trying to bake cake balls with these and see how they hold up.
