Renogy Wanderer Li 30A PWM Solar Charge Controller 12V for Solar Panels

This product is great I run my renogy solar panel through it! I also run x2 Renogy power inverters a 2000 W and a 1500 W and a renogy power converter as well! This is the only brand I trust because their customer service is always 100% on point very easy to work with and understand what parts are needed. Highly recommend this product.

Easy install, worked great. would get 5 stars if it had bluetooth installed, but I use my battery's to monitor.

Just what I needed and that is a charger that wouldn’t shut down and not restart because of low voltage and many do and have to be reset but this one is bulletproof, no connection for device and I never used anyway just panels and battery and my device connects to battery and charger keeps it going even if voltage gets low because of bad weather when the sun comes back it get to work charging

If you bought one of the cheap $10 blue solar panel controllers, and you had a whole lot of trouble getting hands on a gauge of wire small enough to fit in their tiny connectors, and stripped wires 3 times at lease, just to have it all fall out, then THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED. I screwed each wire in, within 10 minutes, no frustrating do-overs or readjustments, or experimenting with duct tapes! I set the battery type manually and was done, as satisfied as can be. Not having a USB or light connections like the cheap blue ones, (I think the brand is Flying Lion btw)... is a bummer, but at this point, I am happy my setup works again! And I can even get a larger gauge wire in there if i wanted! Even the screw was bigger, and required a bigger phillips screw driver (cross size). It clamps down on the cords soooo well!

Great item except for the issues of the soft wear. Really it can’t seem to do the same thing on a regular day of Sundays if there are two really good days of sun I have yet see this item work to full. I have seen days with nothing but rain an it says I made more power the days with full sun. I have also Been having othe issue with the app ie posting photos onto the company social app that comes with ea device they sell. I house that’s how the tech support is starts. Until one of the employees step in and we’ll I have yet to see an one person even be close to having something correct. The Renogy tech. Seems to have a grip it and will be good till another technical connection very disappointed with the reviews from YouTube cause what they said and how great this suff is. I will go out on the limb an say that they must of got the un corrupt things or were being asked to say this and that for a free product or something. I have had nothing but issues as well as others from what I see and read in the community program chat. Just had this issue where the charger was giving out false readings like max volts no amps and no watts and battery charging. In fact was not doing a thing except discharge the battery and was changing the battery type on its own. Thought it was the BT-1 Bluetooth reader so changed the replacement worked for like 10 min and then did the same as the previous one. Had to disconnect charger an all Renogy products so as not to have a battery fire or explosion. MAN WHAT IS with companies and false statements and devices. I can spend less money in fines to rummage at a dump and get better crap.

No complaints at all so far. Plugged a 160W Kings Folding panel into it, and in late afternoon, Winter sun on the east coast of Australia, angled towards the sun the best I could, I was pulling 7.85A out of this controller which is more than enough to keep my fridge running indefinitely off my lithium battery. Don't let people tell you that an MPPT is superior, because for small panels, there's very little difference in my experience. Excellent controller that I bought as a backup in case my CTEK blows an internal fuse (again) and is totally useless. Build quality is good, hard plastic with an aluminium base plate. The grub screws hold 8AWG cable very well and it won't pull out on their own easily. The LED indicators are very bright and easy to see in sunlight too.

I brought this as an upgrade from one of the unbranded charger controllers to give me some room to upgrade and as with all the other Renogy kit I've installed it hasn't disappointed. Holds a better charge voltage for longer delivering more amps and handles cloudy cover better than the cheap unit. Worth the money if you're not splashing out on an MPPT.

I bought this charge controller to replace the very cheap and nasty default controller that came with my solar panels. This one works very well. Simple to use, just has solar in and battery out. No load connections, and for my set-up that is perfect as load is directly off the battery. The controller has start, bulk and float charge modes. There is a maintenance mode but that hasn't been activated yet. I also bought the BT01 adapter so I can use the app to monitor it.

I bought this as the charger with my panel doesn't support LiFePo4, this does the job, the real reason to get this the bluetooth adaptor to monitor your charging rate. Is a bit bulky, so I had to make a bracket to mount it.
