The absorption of active ingredients by sublingual route is 10 to 100 times greater than when taken by traditional oral route, such as pills and syrups.
In addition, through the sublingual route, the active ingredients are absorbed quicker and pass intact into the bloodstream.
Also, many people have poor intestinal absorption and for this reason they do not properly absorb the nutrients they receive by oral route, even in high doses.
For all these reasons, the sublingual route of administration is superior in absorption and effectiveness and this is achieved with a lower dose.
