Beautiful color and pattern
I received the Pixie 30 quickly, it was well packaged in a good-looking, protective box with foam cutouts. At the end of the day, the light is warm but not too hot to touch. The light has great color, spectrum and pattern. There is no disco ball effect with the light 4" above the water on my 5g pico, it has good coverage from end to end. I like how each channel is separately adjustable so that I can get the spectrum and intensity that I want. The blue spectrum is really impressive. My corals were browning out and looking bland with my old light, this light brought back the color, and the corals look healthier too. I have no doubt that SPS would grow under this light in a 5g or 10g tank. The only negative that I have found is that I would like a visual indication of each channel setting as I dislike clicking the button to get to one end of the intensity range or the other and then counting the clicks back to where I want to be vs. looking at a readout or knob position. Occasionally the light will buzz quietly, but I think this is due to the noise and vibration coming from the shop area outside my office that sets up a harmonic vibration from the light. Otherwise, I think the light is great and would buy another again.

Decent light. Works well. Needs some
Comparing to Kessil A360X hybrid fixture with T5’s over my main tank. I bought this light for my quarantine tank and a place to throw in misfit corals. Build quality is good and if I had one gripe about the aesthetic it would be a line of clear plastic around the light fixture which bleeds light into the room. It may be attractive to some but not for me. The install is straightforward and the fit and screws all went in easily. Unfortunately by design the farther out the light goes over the tank, the higher off the water it sits. Luckily over my IM NUVO 10 it fits perfectly both in height and distance over the water. If you were trying to get more spread over an IM30 lagoon you may be frustrated. The remote seems to be a generic remote that they’ve repurposed for an aquarium (maybe?). The buttons aren’t intuitive and if you’re looking for a light to sit and change and play with, look elsewhere. I was able to stumble through the remote to get a 20k color temperature but I’ scared to mess with it again. The sensor for the remote is located on the power supply. This was confusing and took me a minute since I have it placed underneath the cabinet. Once again, if you’re looking for a clean install and to be able to use the remote, look elsewhere. I know this company uses wifi modules in some of there other lights and it would have been really nice to have that option instead of the remote here...especially for setting an on/off schedule. This would have put it far and above the Kessil A80. The light creates a decent shimmer without too much of a discoball effect. Two higher end Zoas frags didn’t like the light but a frag of larger Pandora Zoas seem very happy. So does a high end Leptastrea. Finally my Toadstool seems happy and is fully open. I don’t think I would try SPS or BTA’s with it but I am admittedly a light snob. You may have some luck making it brighter by turning it up to a 10k color temp. For the price I think you’re getting close-to or a little less par than a Kessil 80 series and you’re getting the tank mount included. So long as it doesn’t die, it’s a good deal. Furthermore, while this company gets torched on forums....they are trying to provide customer service which is rare for this offbrand companies. There is definitely a language gap but I appreciate that they’re trying. Unfortunately people think they should be getting a Kessil/Ecotech product for 1/8 the price and come down hard on the manufacturer when they don’t.

Updated after longterm use, garbage!
Update since I've had the pixie 30 and pixie 80 for a while now. They're garbage, were decent for awhile but the remotes slowly quit working to the point they don't work at all anymore. The light also grew corals decently at first but now even my gsp is not happy and slowly melting away. Waste of money save for something more reputable from the start. Highly regret buying these lights, it wasn't worth the little bit of money I saved. Online reviews seemed good for a light in this price range, was impressed by the build quality out of the box other than a few fasteners that weren't as pictured (Phillips screws instead of thumbscrews) but minor as it's not a problem once the height is set. Initially I was happy with it, lacks features of other lights but I was aware and that's something you sacrifice with price across the board. After a month of running channel 1 at 50% and channel 3 at 60%, all but one of the uv of channel 3 have failed. After a back and forth with Amazon(was trying to get ahold of the manufacturer not them to begin with) and refusing to let my tank die while they got this one back and sent a replacement they finally agreed to send a new one and let me send the broken one back. Only when I said I'd rather take the hit and buy a light elsewhere as opposed to loose my corals did they hand it over to someone else that agreed to send a new one first.

Great, powerful little Light!
This little light at 30watts packs a nice little penetrating punch...all the Corals in the accompanying pics have been grown and are growing under this light on my 14 gal over spill frag tank I built and setup for when I don't have the room in my 40 gal frag tank.they acclimated within two weeks as less than an inch size frags. And have grown out to an inch to two inches. Stony corals,.soft corals no problem though I do run my blues at 100% green at 5% red at 1% at peak hour. Some Zoas need problem and at least the softies I have had under them have thrived, careful GSP LOVE this light I have it 8 1/2 inches from water surface great for the price.

Great light,great price.
Great price, fast shipping . Light works great with wifi adapter, you can get so much more out of adjustments for a better spectrum of light for saltwater with it. Don't miss out on the wifi adapter and see what this light can really do for your tank.

Quality product for the price
Using it on a 10 gallon reef aquarium lights up the tank very well and corals are growing. Remote is sporadic at times. Overall a good value for your money I would definitely buy again
