The lean to steer isn’t working too well for me? Is there a trick to it? The instruction are really poor!

The handlebars work by leaning on them left or right when going along. The scooters have a large turning circle to help avoid scooter and rider tipping over.

I cant open the scootie bug scooter iv tried everything it says for over 2 hours ? Am i doing something wrong ?

You have to pull /slide up the coloured catch at the bottom of the silver handle/pole to release

Does it have breaks? And how do toddlers deal with the lean-to-steer versus turn to steer like a bicycle?

No it doesn't have brakes and my toddler tends to keep to a straight line and then stop to turn! If I'm honest he prefers his balance bike so he's had a lot more practice on that than his scooter.

I’ve just received 2 of these for my twins but I can’t open either one. Is there a technique?

It can be really stiff to slide the catch the first time but after that it should ease up. The first couple of times it is easier if someone else holds the scooter in place while this is done. When folding the handle back down it helps for the scooter the be on the ground and gently anchored with your foot before sliding the catch.
