There is no noise whatsoever and it came well packaged. Mix of semi-metalic so I'm hoping it works a bit better than than pure ceramic on my wife's car. At 125K I purchased drilled and slotted rotors which came with ceramic pads. After about 10K miles the car started 'chugging' when stopping. Warped brake rotor type symptoms. I tried to burn off some glaze by dragging brakes for a mile and then some hard stops but it didnt really work better.Got 'free' replacement rotors with $31 shipping. Bought these brakes to try something better. Looking at the old rotors they dont look bad at all , pads either. So I kept both as spares if we put another 75K on the Vibe they might go back on (I hope not) . I was not real happy with the caliper slider pin grease when I did the rebuild this time so I scraped out all old grease and flushed with cleaner and repacked with pin grease. MAYBE that was the real problem. Please clean your pins and repack with proper slide lube. After one day of use the results are positive. I will update if I change my mind ever on these pads but they seem to be good. Came with stainless glide sheet metal and fit exactly right. I didnt need to grind the ears any which happens sometimes on cheap pads.
