My neighbor turned me on to these since we both drive BMW 3-series cars. If you drive a BMW made in the last 20 years, you well know that after about 40K miles, the inside door handles begin to get sticky because they use a defective form of rubber that begins to decay after exposure to heat and humidity. These little plastic inserts snap neatly and quickly directly on top of your sticky rubber door handles and require nothing to hold them in places because they fit perfectly. Highly recommended. Will save you a lot of money in lieu of replacing your door handles at a BMW dealership at an exorbitant price.

My wife's BMW 428 just suffered the common gooey, melty door handle trim that plague BMWs. I came across these trim covers while researching how to replace the door trim. For $23 I figured it was worth a try vs the difficulty, time and possible new damage of removing the entire door panel myself or the ridiculous expense of having the dealer do it. The covers fit snugly and snap on in less than 30 seconds. They are rigid plastic vs. rubber, but they have a smooth matte finish that blends great with other OEM trim. Unless you knew they were covers, you wouldn't be able to tell they are not original parts of the car. Time will tell about durability, but this seems like a great solution instead of spending time frustratingly popping off trim clips, unplugging electrical, removing blind rivets and making sure everything goes back together in working order.

Just got these but i can confirm they solve the sticky handle problem. SIMPLE to install - literally seconds - and they fit great. If you want an easy affordable solution with no tools involved then this is it.

The product arrived on time, install was quick and easy. no tools needed but required a little force (because it’s a snug fit), and looks and feels great. Like others who purchased this product, i was disappointed with the crumbly, sticky, dare i say cheap, handle on my BMW 430i (2018). glad this product was available instead of paying the almost $500 quoted to fix at the dealership. the fact that this product needs to exist is embarrassing. (you can do better BMW).

Very snug fit on my 328i! - very pleased with overall quality. Installed on a 2016 328i - has lived in Arizona it's entire life and the heat takes a toll on these things.. Installation was not simply a "snap on"; you must fit the cover under the actual molding and then it will snap on; there are now notes / directions to inform you of this, but after a couple of minutes it became clear this was the proper route. It may seem like it will "snap" / break during installation but once under the molding it did snap right into place. No more of the rubber "goo" on your hands etc.. Excellent value for the ability to use the interior handle again without the "goo" from door handle nor the ridiculous dealer pricing to replace the door handle itself. Not noticeable unless your really looking for it.

Does not fit my 430i as advertised. Could not get it to wrap around the back of the door handle.

So, I just fitted these and to be clear, they don’t “snap” into place or fit tight like a glove, but they’re pretty good. Fitting them was easy enough and they’ve eliminated the sticky, black, rubber mess - BMW; what were you thinking of making door handles like these? - but they’ve done what I’d hoped, but I would’ve liked a tighter fit, in particular, the new driver’s door cover is looser than the passenger door, I guess because the door handle’s been used more and appears to be a little looser. Overall, I’m happy, but I think these plastic covers could somehow “clip in” better.

Bought these for my 2012 BMW 328i M Sport as the drivers side handle had started to badly break down on the rubber material (a fault with the materials in these cars and older models) Rather than replacing like for like and having to remove the door cards to get at the handles, this is a fantastic, easy to fix and cheap alternative. The job took a couple of minutes and the results are great. They feel good quality and the fit is mostly excellent. Not sure on longevity as they’ve just gone on but I’ll update if there’s any issues later. Make sure you clean any residue off the main part of your handles first if they’ve got sticky bits on from the old rubber (using a product like glue gone works a treat) then just pop these on making sure they’re pushed all the way up at the top. I found the passenger door fit and feels snug immediately but the drivers door one was a little loose at the bottom (see last pic) I popped a bit of super glue under it just at the end and it adhered really well, making it feel tight and well fitted. You might not need this depends on how well it goes on I guess. You do get a slight ridge on the edge as it obviously sits slightly above the original handle rubber, but it doesn’t affect the aesthetics or feel out of place. Anyway, photos attached. Delivery took a week or so as shipped from the US but perfectly packaged and a great product. Highly recommended for a quick fix 👍

The product fits perfectly to 2018 430i. The texture is very smooth and it solves a HUGE problem for considerably a cheap amount. I hope that the stickiness would not come back in time.
