BAD ANKLE DESIGN. *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2017* I really liked the look of these boots. My feet stay dry in them. I really doubt that these would work in weather as cold as they claim to be rated for, which is in the negatives. My feet were quite chilled in 20° weather. Also, if you tie them as tight as you would properly need them, then the ankle issue becomes a bigger problem. The ankle issue being: a lack of support and shape to the ankle of the boot. While driving, the angle your ankle is at causes a giant crease in the boot. If the boots are tied properly tight, the crease pinches and puts pressure on your tendon and ankle quite significantly. Walking on an incline/decline for a period of time (sledding) makes for the same uncomfortable problem. They even start to slouch and bunch up in the ankle after just walking. I have to leave them loosely tied which makes them look sloppy. I feel they are starting to look frumpy with the slouchy crease in them. I have only had these for 1 month, do not have issues with my ankles and have only worn these 4 times.
