Either way because the coffee pot is a thermal design it keeps it hot for a few hours. Also the coffee pot has a safety feature that will not pour unless a leaver is pressed. Liking the reuseable coffee filter- easy to clean. ### ⭐ The product really disappointed me. *by S***L on 16 July 2021* It has been leaking since the day I bought the product. But I didn't mind that. Because my only goal is to have a nice brewed coffee. But I noticed that the coffee does not maintain its temperature after brewing. The coffee container cools down immediately. Also there is no heater. So you'll have to microwave or reheat your coffee. But you cannot reheat it in the machine. I continued to use it this way for a while. One day my house fuses blew and there was a burning smell. The machine smelled of melted plastic.
