Great dehumidifier
This is exactly what we needed. We had an older version of Frigidaire dehumidifier which stopped running after numerous years so we upgraded to this newer model . It was an excellent value for the sale price we paid. It is very quiet and does the job perfectly. It’s very sleek looking and easy to use. Would highly recommend this unit

Very happy with dehumidifier
Very sturdy! Does the job and gets the humidity down quickly. Don’t like the loud beeps when emptying the bucket. Overall I’m pleased with design and function.

Highly efficient and quiet dehumidifier!
This is my second unit, and Frigidaire never disappoints. It is remarkably quiet and pulls moisture out of the air incredibly fast (about one full bucket a day). I actually enjoy manually emptying the tank,it’s very satisfying to see it working so well. but it also has a drainage hose option for direct down-the-drain emptying. Excellent product!

Works, Seems solidly made, Not really 50 pint
The fan seems stronger than the dehumidifier it replaced. The app was easy to install. I've had it a month or so. Today I measured its output and found it took out 9 pints of water in 7 hours when my basement was 74-75 degrees and 58-60% humidity, with it set to 45. That converts to 31 pints per day. I will try to set it lower to see if that gives even better results. (The app reports 49% humidity, but 2 external gages report 60%.) Update: When set at 40 it took out 11.5 pints in 6 2/3 hours with the basement at 57% humidity and 76 degrees. That corresponds to 41 pints in 24 hours, which is closer to the claimed 50 pints. The dehumidifier says it is 43% humidity. Perhaps it turns off now and then. I will try to set it lower to see if that give even better results. UPDATE 2: With it set at 35% there was no improvement. It took out 8.4 pints in 5 hours when basement was 77 degrees and humidity wa 57%. That comes to 40 pints a day.

Worked for 8 days (a new record!)
No auto-shut off when you remove the bucket to empty it. You have to turn the unit off to do that. Most of the lights on the screen don't work (inc. the power indicator,) unless it's on the 2nd mode. Frigidaire customer service assures me this is how it's supposed to work. These days, Frigidaire dehumidifiers don't last 2 years (as many reviews--and my own experience--clearly show.) It's a powerhouse of dehumidification, sure, but I knew well enough to buy the 4-year warranty, as we're going to need it (so, ultimately, the cost of the unit is +$50, and it still won't work nearly as long as it should.) The Frigidaire dehumidifier I bought 14 years ago's still going strong. I should've bought 2 back then... 8 days after receiving it, it's mostly stopped sucking up the humidity. The warm air that blows out the top is cold. Now to navigate Frigidaire's warranty nightmare. Further update; Despite the company telling me they'll replace the clearly defective unit, navigating the warranty system really is a nightmare. I had to call back for more help, as my problem wasn't listed as an option. Their CSR told me to pick anything, because it doesn't matter. I suspect this is how they're going to "invalidate" the claim. We'll see... Instead of honoring their warranty and replacing the unit (as I was told they would,) now they want me to ret'n this to AMZ (despite the fact that I'm old, arthritic, and don't even have the packing materials anymore.) I could barely get it into my house when it was delivered, and now they want me to repackage and lug it 20 miles away.

Excellent dehumidifier and releases next to zero heat
This is a great dehumidifier! I definitely like the aesthetic of it, amd it is very simple to set up. I tried another one recently and the heat from it was intense. This model releases (what feels like) 1% of that heat. The other model had a higher review score also, but I cannot see why. As far as the capacity, I am using a stainless steel hose and have it draining into my sink. It has already removed a decent amount of moisture from the air. I do not see any leaks at this point, but I will update this review after I have used the dehumidifier longer, as I just got it. I am super impressed at this point. I am hoping Frigidaire is as reliable a brand as my research has indicated.

Top tier quality.
Excellent machine. The display is great, it’s not overly noisy, and looks good! We use it in our basement, set at 55 and we empty it roughly once every day or two. It’s doing the job it’s meant to do!

Great product
My basement is around 1,000 sq ft, and it gets very humid after it rains. I originally bought a 35-pint dehumidifier, but it turned out to be too small. It couldn’t reach my target humidity of 45% and couldn’t even get below 60%. So I quickly returned it and bought this 50-pint Frigidaire. Man, as soon as I turned this monster on, the humidity dropped from 70% to 60% within an hour. By the next morning, it was down to 55%. Now, after two days, it’s almost reached my target of 45%. I highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with a damp basement!
