what is a good case for this ?

Sorry, we don't make any device case for our Original Tamagotchi series.

Buttons are broken and it hasn’t even been a month since Christmas. Is there anything we can do?

Ours didn't last long at all either.

Can anyone see their screen best when looking directly at it? Mine is blurry and very dim from that angle, it's clear only when tilted significantly.

Mine looks just fine. Might want to send yours back and get a new one?

What screen do I get when tamagotchi dies? Is it an angel?

Yes, an angel will appear when it returns to home planet.
