As I am using Method cleaning liquids they, too, have their smells. Compared to tgem, this cleaning liquid smells slightly stronger, is slightly more chemical in its smell but it does not burn the nasal cavity as Ajax, Cilit and others reminiscent of bleach substances do. I still prefer not to overdo it, but I feel much more comfortable around it than 'proper cleaning stuff'. And this is proper cleaning product. It erases dirt, possibly nit as viciously as its predecessors I have tried over the years, but you can always keep it on for a few minutes before scrubbing or removing.
