I feel that the 7% one star reviews are maybe due to people trying to adjust the knurled knob. Device works great if set up correctly and I’m 100% pleased with it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works straight out the box *by C***N on 26 April 2022* Just setting up 1st marine tank. So this is all new to me. The refractometer comes with a plastic case and 3 pipettes and simple instructions. I first focused it for my eyes and then checked the calibration and it was spot on. Then tested the salt level in my tank and added some more salt to bring up to the correct level. The refractometer is simple to use. Just add a drop or 2 of liquid an stand under a bright light when you take the reading. Wipe of the liquid before putting back in the case.
