Very compact and high quality external SSD
This metal-cased SSD external drive is a durable, high-performance solution for having a high capacity backup or external storage. The 500GB capacity is amazingly high utility and supports everything I need. Currently using it to move photos between devices when on the road and moving around my development setup everywhere I need it. The unit remains impressively cool to the touch even after heavy photo transfers. The included cable is flexible and offers great versatility with both USB-A and USB-C connectivity. The included USB-A and USB-C converter is very handy, as I can use it on my other devices. It also comes with a soft velvet pouch that keeps the drive and cord together, making it easy to toss into a bag for travel without worrying about dinging it. Overall, the compact design and quick speeds make this a reliable companion with my MacBook. The price point is spot on given current storage prices. Honestly weigh whether 256GB is enough for a more affordable option.

Nice compact drive
Nice compact drive, transfer seemed pretty quick, cable has flexibility and can be connected to USB-A or USB-C. Drive also comes with a velvet case to hold the drive and cable together. 500GB is a good size as a back up for laptop. I was able to offload a laptop with 256gb that was almost full easily. drive remained cool to the touch after the transfer. The case is metal so this should be pretty durable.
