Easy to use

Fantastic reference
Doing differentials for the first time can be very stressful and overwhelming. Having the Carr book at your side is a must. The images are very accurate and the descriptions are great to help you understand what you're seeing under the scope. During my hematology labs, I lived by this book and wouldn't have made it through without it!

Super für die Mikroskopie
Also ich muss erstmal sagen, endlich denkt mal einer mit. Das mit der Spiralbindung ist echt eine super Sache. Zum Mikroskopieren ist es echt praktisch, da es nicht immer wieder zusammenklappt, so wie ein Buch. Es sind alle wichtigsten Zellen enthalten, leider immer nur ein Bild. Das ist ein wenig schade. Aber gerade für Anfänger ist es echt ein super Buch. Wer allerdingt hofft, noch ein paar Zusatzinformationen zu Krankheiten, etc. zubekommen, der wird enttäuscht. Es sind nur Momentaufnahmen der reinen Mikroskopie enthalten. LEIDER!! Deswegen nur 4 Sterne. Aber trotzdem kann ich das Buch weiterempfehlen.

You NEED this book
This is a great book if you are working in the lab or still currently in school. It has colored pictures in every page and shows a lot og cells and tissues. It even gives small description of what is going on. This is everything you need for a hematology class or the lab section.

Alright
It's alright, it has a lot of red cell disorders and their characteristics. It does lack white blood cell disorders which is disappointing for the price! It's not a true Hematology atlas without WBC disorders. I purchased a mini atlas that has everything and I use that one over this atlas! It's called; "Heme Notes: A Pocket Atlas of Cell Morphology", by Denise M. Harmening PhD MT(ASCP). I recommend everyone to get that atlas.
