What is the merv rating on this filter?

I can't recall seeing the merv rating but it is a very thin mesh filter. Can't imagine the merv rating is very high and it probably shouldn't be or else it would not allow proper air flow.

Does this product has glassfiber ?

Hi there, There's absolutely no glass fibers or fiberglass in our filter fabric. They are 100% non-woven polyester.

Can they restrict air flow and burn out the blower?

We have a forced air A/C and heating system, the kind that you hear the air blowing. The covers don't appear to block the air flow, but we installed the covers on the outside, on top of the vent. I don't know if they will burn the blower. We live in Northern CA and do not run the A/C or heating all the time.

Does it keep insects away or they can find a way through it?

If you've got insects coming through your vents, you need much more than this to stop them. Looking at a temporary fix will only take money that you REALLY ought to use to fix holes from the outside as well as a good dose of pest spray every week for a couple of months.
