Help up WAY better than I initially thought they would, and I get compliments on them all the time! Love!My original review below:Nice looking boots. I'm normally wear a 7 1/2, so I got an 8 and they were HUGE. Then I ordered a 7 and they fit perfect! They are a bit on the wide side so they're roomy, but the lace up means they're adjustable so that's good. The only thing is the buckle only removes two straps, and the other two are sewn on, so it's a bit of a hassle to adjust the laces, but theoretically you'd only do it once, then use the zipper from then on. They do look kind of cheap as there's noticeable glue on the front seam, but I'm going to wreck these at Burning Man so I don't care. I'm sure the seller would take an exchange based on this issue but I'm not really complaining. I bought these for a trip to Europe and they were fantastic and comfortable at first, but towards the end of the month-long trip the soles started to fall apart. By the time I got home I had to discard them. However, keep in mind I wore these every single day for nearly a month with A LOT of walking while I traveled (so many miles...).Bottom line: These are great for casual wear, but if you plan to do an insane amount of walking they probably aren't ideal. These look way better in person. I love the color of the material- it looks very real leather color, and they are made much nicer than the previous boots I had bought/returned.My main concern was size/fit because I am flat-footed (thanks dad) and my right foot is larger than my left- my right foot is about 0.25" wider and almost a 0.5" longer D:< I bought a size 9 (which is what I always buy) at the risk they might be too narrow or tight or short for my right foot. I was HAPPILY surprised that they fit both feet comfortably. My right was a little snug but still room to wiggle and the boot was long enough that my right toe didn't touch the end.
