Bamboo Foldable Laptop Stand

This bamboo laptop stand is simple, sturdy, versatile, and pretty universal as far as aesthetics.The cuts and finish are good and I didn’t find any burs, mistakes, or inconsistencies in the cuts or finish.I use this as a book stand, mainly for guitar practice. It’s lightweight and folds up flat for easy storage or to carry in a bag.The upper portion can be adjusted from flat to nearly vertical with 6 evenly-spaced angle settings above the flat position. Adjusting it up or down is fast and easy and every position remains solid.At the time of review, this is listed for $21.99 and on sale for $17.99. To me, this is a good value.My only concern is the very small hinges and screws, which will be fine under normal use but may bend or pull out if dropped or accidentally bent/pulled the wrong way with force. For me, this is a minor issue that will probably never come up, but it would be an easy fix if it did.I would recommend this laptop stand.

I like to work on my computer in front of the television but the desktop is in a room at the other end of the house. No worries: enter the laptop and cloud computing. The only issue is the angle of the laptop display to my neck; it's not good. I've tried using little plastic legs but those don't always get them high enough. Enter this stand. It looks much nicer than the metal one I had before and it's easy to operate. My 17" laptop fits nicely but I do have one caveat: PLEASE be careful closing you laptop. I was working one morning and one of my cats had an emergency. I slammed the lid shut and it caught on the 'shelf' and cracked; not bad but enough that the touchscreen needs to be replaced. I'm not knocking it down as I'm the one who slammed it shut, just be aware that the shelf may stick out above you laptop and possibly be a danger. Other than that warning, this is a very nice accessory and does a great job. One other thing, it also makes a good book holder. The adjustability of the back has a wide range; I'm also using it to hold cookbooks while I'm cooking. Great value for multiple uses. Recommend.

I generally use this as a tablet stand for some large tablets, and it is really good at the job because it's very sturdy. It's made of bamboo but it feels just like some very solid wood. It is adjustable with some notches in the back for where you want it to hold, and it holds really well in those spots. It's not just tablet size, too, because it's very big so you can easily use it for a smaller laptop such as a Chromebook. Sometimes I use it for showing a laptop screen like a TV. It does allow heat dissipation like the listing claims, although I'm not as big a fan for using this with laptops because the angles are pretty high and I don't want to type nearly horizontally. Still, if you want it to raise your laptop keyboard, it can do that, although if you have a particularly large laptop, some will be off the stand's edges. The price is fine considering the quality, and it's worth buying if you need a stand this big. For a tablet stand like how I use it, this might be more than what you need, price-wise.

Nice stand for laptops, tablets, phones, and pretty much anything where angling it up is a benefit. Not really wide enough for use directly on your lap. The provided stick-on feet really help to keep the stand in place. For laptops that have enough screen hinge range you can lift it up fairly high. Obviously if your hinge is limited, like on older laptops, you will be limited on how high you can lift it. The finish is nice and will look good anywhere you place it. The handle makes it easy to carry it and the open slots on the bottom should help with cooling. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is one of the screws was loose and another the head was partially stripped. Also, the hinge mechanism was somewhat loose, and it made it seem a little flimsy. These items may just be a one off type of issue though.

I had no idea this stand would be so awesome. The bamboo is smooth and sturdy.I love how it supports my iPad on my lap. Even with the case on my iPad, the stand base has plenty of room. The multi position adjustment allows for different viewing angles. This feature comes in very handy depending on where I am sitting, e.g., sofa, recliner, table, etc. Highly recommended.
