J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition du Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 et je suis globalement très satisfait de cet achat. La configuration initiale s'est avérée simple et rapide, se connectant instantanément à mon téléphone Samsung. La portée du Bluetooth semble excellente. J'apprécie particulièrement la fonctionnalité de recherche à proximité avec l'indication de direction sur mon téléphone, ce qui facilite grandement la localisation d'objets perdus. Le design est compact et discret, et la résistance à l'eau et à la poussière (IP67) est un atout non négligeable pour une utilisation quotidienne sans souci. L'autonomie de la batterie annoncée est impressionnante, et après plusieurs semaines d'utilisation, elle semble se confirmer. Ne plus avoir à se soucier de changer les piles fréquemment est un vrai plus. L'intégration avec l'écosystème Samsung SmartThings est fluide et intuitive. L'application offre plusieurs options de personnalisation et de suivi. En conclusion, le Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 est un excellent outil pour ceux qui cherchent à garder un œil sur leurs objets de valeur. I linked it to my Samsung S22 phone and it knew where it was on a map. We put them on luggage we took to Mexico. I could see it moving around the airport and getting on the plane and when we got there, I could see the luggage arrived too. Seems like with more and more Samsung S22+ phones around, it gets tracked fairly well. I over paid for these at ~$50 per unit. Now Amazon has 4 for $120. In 2026, price is down to $20 per device. They work fairly well but seem to show the location as being where the device that detected it is - NOT the actual tag location. I have one in a car at a remote location and my neighbours phone picked up the device and it shows the car being at their house. So accuracy is not perfect. Also if the battery dies and you don't have the device, it can be difficult to find because it is shown as being at the location of the last detected device.

Useful NFC feature: The built-in NFC is a small bonus. It lets you trigger SmartThings automations or pair the tag more quickly. Not essential, but definitely convenient if you use Samsung’s smart home ecosystem. Works well for pets too : I tried it on a dog collar for a weekend. It’s not a GPS, of course, but for nearby tracking it worked surprisingly well. One thing to know : It only works with Samsung phones, keep that in mind if you’re not in the ecosystem. Final verdict : Reliable, accurate, and easy to use. If you’re already using a Samsung phone, this is one of the best Bluetooth trackers you can get for your keys, luggage, or even your pet.
