Indeed these are a decent pair of gaming headphones.

Too expensive. For what they always worth. Audio is inaccurate and not rich. Everything sounds muddy.

Works great with my PS5, able to plug directly into my controller. Bluetooth is convenient sometimes but the simplicity of just plugging in a cord, I feel, is underrated. Have also used these on desktop and laptop, connection and sound on all three platforms is excellent. Comfortable fit even after longer sessions. Quality materials, feels durable. Clear, solid sound with decent bass for games. Don't play online so can't speak on the mic. For $60 I'm happy with the value, JBL does not disappoint.

04 April 2026: I've been pleased with and enjoying the excellent sound quality from these headphones. I have a couple of pros, and a couple of cons, that aren't a reflection of quality rather than a recommendation to JBL for making these just a bit more user friendly. Pros: Comfort. The ear pads have a very comfortable woven cloth ear padding rather than cheap pleather that will quickly deteriorate like my other high-dollar headphones. I love the way they seem to caress my ears. The cloth is cooler than pleather too. Sound Quality. The sound out of these headphones are every bit as good as my much more expensive noise-cancelling headphones. Lightweight. I hardly know that these are on when I first don them. They feel great (for a while, anyway). Cons: Not Wireless. These are corded. Bluetooth would have been more convenient. Cord Length too Short. The cord is just too short at one meter. You can't lean back in your chair for a stretch without risking unplugging or damaging the cord. It is for this reason that I rated the headphones at 4 stars. If the cord were 2 meters. I would have rated at 5 stars. I plan to replace the cord with a 6 foot cord at a minimum. Last, the headphones are a little snug on my head and become a bit uncomfortable after a couple of hours. I wear a size 7 hat, so my head is not very big. If you have a larger than average head, these headphones may not be the best choice for multi-hour wear while gaming. Overall, I am very pleased with these headphones a recommend them to all. Just be prepared to buy a longer audio cord.

I recently got this JBL Quantum 250 Wired Gaming Headset, and I’m seriously impressed! The sound quality is amazing, thanks to the 50mm carbon dynamic drivers. The audio is rich, immersive, and clear, making my gaming experience way more intense. The carbon damping material really helps reduce distortion, so you get crisp, realistic sound even during the most intense sessions. One of my favorite features is the QuantumENGINE. It’s super easy to customize my sound profile, and the real time visualizer helps me pinpoint where sounds are coming from, giving me a nice edge. The noise reduction feature is also a game changer, especially for cutting out any annoying background noise. Plus, I can optimize the mic’s performance with just a few clicks. It has worked seamlessly, and I like how I can connect multiple JBL Quantum headsets if I get another in the future. The Quantum Spatial Sound is saweeeeet. It has more sound details and creates a nice natural and immersive experience. The sound just feels more alive, with real reflections and reverberation, making everything feel more realistic. Speaking of the mic, the noise canceling boom mic is fantastic. It picks up my voice loud and clear without transmitting background noise. Other players have never complained about hearing my mom bringing me more nuggies! And I love that it’s detachable, for when I’m in the beat lab... The comfort and ergonomics are top notch too. The super light design, combined with the fabric ear cushions and mesh under the headband, makes wearing this headset for hours a breeze. I never feel weighed down or uncomfortable. I also appreciate the replaceable parts. Being able to swap out the mic, cable, ear cushions, and mesh, means I can keep my headset working and comfortable! The fact that it’s compatible with Windows, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo means I could use it across so many devices without any hassle. All in all, the JBL Quantum 250 is an excellent headset. It’s got amazing sound, great comfort, and solid durability. Highly recommend it if you want an awesome gaming experience!

Microphone doesn’t work

Awesome headset. Very strong presentation off the bat; I'm more used to headsets with adjustable earpieces, but this one has an elastic strap that contours the head gently, and offers perfect support. Each part is manufactured beautifully, so that the construction and assembly of the piece itself is part of the visual presentation. This includes the touches of highlights from the braided wiring, and the layered plastic which is actually transparent, creating a cool crystalline shell appearance over the actual ear pieces. I did not treat it very roughly, but it does seem to be durable, particularly in the high-wear areas of the head support band and the padding for the ear pieces. It's nice to note that the material for the cushion, a nylon-esque cover is over the foam, giving it a lot more protection for long-lasting use, while not suffering cracking or heat/sweat like some of the faux leather headsets. The presentation is visually beautiful, and continues to impress with the comfort and feel of the fit as well. Admittedly, I have an extremely large head, and so it was a little tight. For else anyone who wears a 7.75 size hat, this is yet another headset not made for us. Still, the feel is very luxurious, and I can definitely put up with a bit of tightness from the fit in rotation with my other headset. The wired connection will be love/hate for some, but I really like the fact that it can be relied on this way. I do have other wireless headsets, and there are times when each are useful, but for an always reliable, fantastic quality sound option, this is really great to have. The sound itself is great, as expected from JBL. It's marketed as a gaming headset, and while games do have fantastic soundtracks, many are optimized to play sounds in standard ranges that devices support, so I don't know how much difference it makes. For listening to other music such as wav files in the highest fidelity, it does sound very nice. I tested the microphone, it's good and perfectly serviceable. I have a dedicated podcast mic and this wasn't at that level, but it's a great mic option for games or video conferences. As a final touch, I have to admit, I absolutely loved the giant "R" and "L" indicators embroidered as part of the design. This is always something I need to pause to consider when grabbing a headset, and they really did a fantastic job with a label that actually reads great and looks cool. It's a small touch, but for me, this was just a perfect example of all the little considerations that went into the design.

Tienen buen audio, los uso para escuchar música. Se que están hechos para el gaming, pero honestamente me gustó el diseño y calidad. No son top de gama alta pero no te vas a arrepentir. Son cómodos para largas jornadas.

En mi reseña personal son muy cómodos me encanta no tener que ajustarlos gracias a la cama que tiene en la diadema, sobre el sonido se escucha muy bien y tiene una gran cancelación de ruido cuando me llaman al teléfono mis amigos me tienen que avisar por qué no escucho el tono, las almohadillas son de tela y intercambiables y se pueden lavar, y el micrófono vengo de usar los astro a10 y los astro a10 gen 2 y esos micrófono eran muy malos, según mis amigos y yo se escucha muy limpio
