Review: Works as advertised - The first thing I want to comment on is the USB Miner board itself.. I think with it being primarily an open design, the risk of ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) hurting the board, or if it were to fall would not be good for it. In a way, I think that having some sort of cover over it - might help to protect it a little better. The ease of installation was pretty straightforward. Since you do need to get the drivers/ software to run it - make sure you get them from a trusted source. Other than getting the software/drivers, you simply just plug this in to the computer. The speed is not that high, it takes a while to get very much - the mining pool I'm on collects LTC (Lite Coin). Then after you mine enough, you can convert it to the currency you want. Overall, I think it's worth the money paid for this product. At least it helps you to learn the basics of mining. Most USB 2 ports are limited to 500mA, while USB 3 can usually provide 1.5A+. It will run on any USB port but you might need to turn down the frequency on USB 2 ports that can provide more power. **Q: How much profit would i expect to see mined per day with this? pennies? dollars? i understand the fluctuating market.** A: It depends on the crypto your mining (the Moonlander 2 can mine a couple dozen scrypt based coins), the price, and difficulty of that coin. Obviously for a $50 device your not going to make a lot, but its more important to compare how much crypto it mines, since in the long run this means a lot more the current dollar amount (.01 Bitcoin was pennies years ago too ;). **Q: About how much litecoin does this mine per day?** A: At current difficulty this will mine about a tenth of a litecoin a year.
