The first one was absolutely bulletproof - very sturdy and used in many dives.This one however broke after only 2 weekends of diving - one of the fastening assemblies came off the pole and the entire thing slid apart. If it wasn't for my buddy noticing I'd have lost my GoPro! I was hoping it was a one-off defect, but apparently I'm not the only one with this issue so this new redesigned version of the Pole (which supports different camera mountings) appears to have some quality control issues.I'm guessing if it's manufactured properly it will be just as reliable as my first one, but I'm a bit wary of trusting this pole now - I'd certainly make sure the GoPro is secured via an additional lanyard from now on - sound advise no matter which pole you use! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage *by C***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2020* Product is a piece of garbage, used one time snorkeling and a piece internally broke when trying to extending and was unusable after that.
