I bought an open box version from a 3rd party vendor who sells on Amazon, and then discovered that the Ridgid guarentee is therefor not available. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I needed. *by R***N on August 21, 2023* I had to sand down four picnic tables so I could restain. If you are not careful it will remove a lot of material!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not sure about power button *by J***R on December 23, 2022* Great sanders. Feels good in hand, easy to move and control. Would have given 5 stars however the start trigger seems to not want to start the motor, there's a tiny delay. I'm guessing this may be due to it not starting up at max speed. I don't think it's a bad connection ( wishful hoping) . I'm more inclined to think it's the brushless motor and starts a little differently. Will see what happens. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/8097140-r2740-heavy-duty-variable-speed-belt-sander-3-in-x](https://www.desertcart.in/products/8097140-r2740-heavy-duty-variable-speed-belt-sander-3-in-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
