Audio-Technica AT-BG2 Microphone Pouch

I did not purchase this for a microphone, but rather as a case for my Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard for iPad, iPhone, Android devices, and Windows tablets. This keyboard does not come with a case and there is not one available for purchase. I wanted something that was slightly padded and had the easy access of a zipper. This is an absolutely perfect fit; as if it were made for the keyboard. It is well made for the price and as far as I am concerned a perfect purchase.

Fantastic product that has great insulation and a zipper for safety. Before I purchased this pouch we were leaving the wireless microphone out and around without any protection. I can’t count how many times it fell onto the floor. It wasn’t damaged because of the durability of Audio-Technical products but because the microphone needs to be in a safe area, this pouch is great. It also comes in handy when we use the mic in other buildings or take it on the road.

Oddly, my Neumann TLM 102 MT Condenser Microphone didn't come with a pouch and I didn't want to have a bare mic rolling around in my rack drawer or gig bag. Hence, the AT-BG2 mic bag. Bag quality is good albeit padding is a little thin—won't protect from drops on hard surfaces—but is protective enough for drawer and bag storage. I put my larger mics in padded Klein Tool bags but the more petite AT-BG2 is ideal for small to medium sized mics.

I recently purchased an Audio Technica System 10 Handheld Wireless Mic System, wich surprisingly did not come with a microphone pouch. Protect your investment with this padded microphone pouch. I also recommend the Shure WA 555 Handheld Transmitter Grip/Switch Cover available from Amazon.com.

Can fit an sm57 no problem. Has foam on the interior to add a little extra protection. AT-2020 and AT-2035 are a bit tight though.

It's just a microphone pouch, so I doubt a review is really needed, but I figured somebody else might be wondering if the type of microphone I had fits into this particular pouch. I borrowed an AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone from a friend and stupidly lost the pouch for it, so I bought this one as a replacement. This pouch is a little bigger than the one that originally came with the microphone (I couldn't find an exact replacement for sale), but it fits the microphone securely. There is extra length to the pouch, but the microphone doesn't slide around.
