Probably a mistake of the factory, and it was a little cheaper than all the others. However, it looks good, seems to protect just fine, fits my tablet very well without excessive bulk. The only drawback is that it takes a little breaking in for the cover to fold up and become a stand, and it uses the weak magnet that tells the tablet to turn on/off to hold the cover in a triangle. It doesn't always hold, and the way it folds the inside face of the cover becomes the surface touching the table. That means anything on the table you set this on gets on the part that touches the screen.
