Completely Transformed My Gas Can โ No More Leaks or Mess
I originally picked up a gas can from a local store, and honestly, it felt like a total waste because of the factory spout. It leaked, dripped, and made transferring fuel into my equipment an absolute mess. I was ready to give up on the can altogether โ until I installed the EZ-POUR Gas Can Spout Replacement. What a difference. This HI-FLO system completely changed my opinion of the gas can I purchased. The flow is smooth and controlled, and thereโs no more spilling or fuel running down the side of the can. The seal is solid, and everything feels secure and well-designed. It actually works the way a gas can should work. The included extension is an added bonus and makes fueling even easier, especially for equipment with awkward fill angles. The flexible nozzle and flame arrestor give extra confidence and versatility. Never again will I deal with those original โjunkโ spouts that come standard on so many cans. This replacement is a total game changer and absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Great product - Made my old gas can work better than ever. Removed the Frustration Factor!!
I had an older gas can that I had removed all the 'protective features' from. This left a straight tube with a slot in it that I had to pour the gas through. It made a mess every time, and I couldn't close the spout so gas was constantly evaporating, smelling up the truck, etc. The new cans appeared to be no better than the old ones with the 'protective features,' and I didn't want to pay $25 and up for another can.Found this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! It fit the threads on my old can perfectly (the yellow ring worked for mine), and has been completely leak proof. I added the extension tube because I have to fill a pressure washer that is mounted pretty high up in my truck bed, which has a cap over the bed. The tube allows for filling without having to hold the can up high over the pressure washer tank. The yellow threaded cap keeps the gas vapors in, and the small yellow vent allows for expansion and for pouring without the 'glug-glug' and spilling that occurs with a non-vented can. Removal for filling the can is easy, and it appears the gaskets are well-done and should not be coming out or getting mis-aligned with use (causing the can to leak. This also happened with my old spout.)One of the best purchases I've made. I highly recommend this spout. It's nice to be able to fill up my machines without having to have old rags available to wipe up the gas that was guaranteed to spill with my old spout.*** I did not receive any compensation for this review. I'm picky about what I buy, and when I find something that works well, as advertised, I try to share it with others. Hope you have the same result!

they work a lot better than the California horrors
They work, and they work pretty well. This is one of many such spout replacements for gas cans. All of them serve the purpose of enabling you to deep-six the cruddy monstrosities that California EPA "experts" have foisted on us under the guise of consumer safety. I have a few points about replacement spouts:One, don't throw away your can's original screw-cap (...with a hole in it), at least, not until you've verified that the replacement screw cap works on your gas-can. I've replaced various crappy California-mandated @&*%##$ NON-pour spouts on a dozen cans, and I've had at least three where the new screw cap DIDN'T FIT THE THREADS ON THE CAN. In this here particular product, they give you not one, but TWO replacement screw-caps, but I'm telling you that for one of my cans, NEITHER OF THEM WORKED...so I was glad I'd kept the old one. Two, it's best if your can is completely empty and dry before you drill the hole for the breather. Most of the time you get at least a few shreds of plastic falling into the can, and it's easier to get them out if the can is dry. Alternatively, you can add a quart or two of water to the can, and rinse the scraps out, repeating as needed...after which you can wait a week for the few drops of water to evaporate, or point a hair dryer through a metal funnel into the open pour-hole and dry it out in five minutes. ...Or you can just say the heck with it, and live with a few drops of water mixed into your gas [guess which method I prefer.]Three, when you drill out the hole for the breather-valve, DON'T DRILL THROUGH A SEAM IN THE CAN! The instructions may or may not tell you to drill the hole in the center of a flat area near the top of the can, but it won't make any difference if you drill it an inch off center, and you won't have a leak when the little breather-valve can't seal on that rough, ugly seam.Four, I've bought three of these, haven't needed the spout extension on any of them. I suppose if you need more than about 8 inches to reach a deeply recessed fill-mouth, a 10-inch extension might be a good idea. Me, I've never had a machine with such a poorly-designed fill-hole. I haven't tried it, but I'll bet you could stretch the opening of the extension to fit over the can's primary spout -- if so, the extension could serve as a spare spout, rather than just another piece of plastic junk that serves no purpose...and which you probably won't be able to find anyway, assuming that you ever do need a really long spout. All of these wondrous words of wisdom are just my humble opinions. And remember, folks: free advice is worth every penny you pay for it.

Simple and Effective
I finally gave up on the "safety" spouts that come with new gas cans. I can never seem to figure those things out, and they always end up making a mess. The EZ-POUR Replacement is exactly what I needed. It is easy-peasy to install and even easier to use. No clicking, twisting, or frustrationโjust a straightforward spout that actually pours gas when you want it to.If you're tired of struggling with the over-complicated nozzles that come on gas cans these days, get this. It works perfectly.

EZ Pour Hi Flo Spout
The high flow can spout is a great product. I use these on my old red plastic 5 gallon gas cans. They seal up just fine and don't leak. I have never needed the extension, so can't comment on that. I would recommend this item.

Wonder Worker
Save me money by not buying another gas can. This one fits my 5-gal gas can, the extension will work great when filling my Generator up, no more wasted gas. Tried two others and they didn't work, bad as the one came with the can, the safety lock sucked. Life saver. Buy it, you're never regret it.

Whipped into failure.
I purchased this to make it easy to fill our Ranger SxS, which needed a longer nozzle to reach the tank location. Filling everything became easy and quick. Unfortunately, after less than six months of use, the connection point to the gas can distorted and began to leak. It appears the nozzle with the extension whipped sufficiently during transport over our bumpy dirt roads to the gas station and caused this damage. I am sure this would not have happened had I removed the extension. I'm replacing it with the rigid version.
