Great entry level helmet
Really nice helmet at price point! It’s comfortable, stylish with many features found in more expensive models

Yes, you need a sun visor
In my opinion, this helmet hit a home run. I've only had it for a few weeks but the quality seems to far surpass the value. I like the silver/gray color scheme a lot and I love the sun visor. I do wish it had more vents since I live in the heat but it's fine. There is some wind noise but I think that's the nature of the beast. Sometimes there are sacrifices for such a low price but I just don't see it in this particular item. Update#1 As an addition, I am a tweener at 23" - between MD and LG - so I went with the LG. I got it, I wore it around the house and it felt snug; however, after many rides later, it does seem to have broken in to an ever so slightly, loose fit. It's possible a MD would have been a better choice. Update#2 I recently noticed that the screws to the visor were very loose. Get some blue loctite on those before you lose them. Update#3 After some time, the LG does cause unbearable crown pressure. It's mostly loose left to right. Update#4 I bought a MED and confirmed the outer shell and inner padding of both LG and MED are identical in size. They share the same shell and the difference lies in the EPS core. Unfortunately, the MED mostly caused forehead pressure and wasn't the solution to the LG. This is unfortunate dilemma of a tweener.

For the price, one great dual sport riding helmet
Great helmet for the price. O'Neal dud a great job with the engineering aspects. Very comfortable, well padded, full face coverage keeps the wind off your face, much quieter on windy rides, sun protection visor for sunny days. Face protector visor easily retractable. Liked mine so I ordered one for my wife as well

Nice helmet
It's a really nice helmet it's a little noisy in the wind but it seemed to be made very well and was pretty comfortable I did have to send it back because it was too tight and had to switch brands cuz they didn't have the next size up but I did really like the helmet.

Well worth it for a big forehead.
I bought this helmet without being able to test fit one. My Mellon has a habit of having helmets press hard on the back of the head and forehead giving me a "it fits ok on the showroom but after 30 minutes on the road I have a splitting headache" scenario. This model has a little extra "length" that works well with the caveman frontal skull lobe I have. :) The visor is slightly oversized giving you a generous field of view while maintaining the motocross coolness look. The only thing Ive had an issue with is the visor vibrates in the wind just right and produces a slight noise on the rear edge where it contacts the top of the helmet. A little electrical tape tucked underneath, a quick touch up with a razor blade and all looks good and functions without a squeak. Padding is excellent. Just be sure to buy an extra visor whole you can, helmets go oyt of style like cell phones so buying an extra lense might not be possible after a season or two.

Great product.
I LOVE these helmets - quality products, lower jaw protection is greater than many helmets. Worth the money. Are well made - run tight, but that might be a far better design. You want 'hamster cheeks' in a good helmet. Their outer transparent visor seems thicker than many offerings. I'd love to see an O'Neal helmet with an in-built auto brake sensor light -- there are clip-on VERY HIGH-QUALITY brake light offerings that some manufacturer should license and build it into a helmet. Worth a big premium.

My husband will actually wear this helmet! Breathable, comfortable, and has a built in sun shield!
I purchased this helmet for my husband and for once he will actually wear it! Before he would never wear his old helmets because they were “too hot”, “too loud inside”, “too ridiculous looking”. With this helmet he actually wants to wear it! He says it is nice and comfortable, breathable, and does a great job of actually cutting down on the road noise but still be able to hear cars around him. His favorite feature though is the built in sun shield that is able to flip up inside the helmet when not in use. He says he would purchase this helmet again in a heartbeat.

You get what you pay for...
I like this helmet, but let's get down to the negatives first. My main gripes are about the D-rings. The ring strap fits through the comfort strap in two places, one up near the base of the helmet where it enters, and one closer to the rings where it exits. The problem is that the ring strap is too short. When you put the helmet on it slides back up into the inside of comfort strap where you cannot grab it. To fix this I had to cut away at the comfort strap (see pictures). The second issue is with the rings themselves. They are a lot smaller than other helmets. This makes securing the D-rings very difficult, and impossible if you're wearing gloves. So basically every time you put this helmet on you are fighting with the rings. Aside from that, the helmet is noticably louder than a standard helmet. This is to be expected as it's a dual sport helmet, but the acoustics seem to magnify all sound. Wearing this helmet makes things louder than if I wasn't wearing a helmet at all. For any distance riding ear plugs are a requirement. For sizing, a lot of comments mentioned going a size up because the helmet runs small. I followed the measurement suggestions and ordered to size up from there. This seems to fit me perfectly. The helmet is very well ventilated. I also think it looks very stylish. The drop down sun visor is a nice addition for the value. Quality seems pretty fair. For what I paid I actually like this helmet, but it's not without its faults.

Eccezionale
Eccezionale. Comodissimo, pratico e funzionale.
