Any plastic that would come in contact with hot liquid? thank you.** A: Steam wand is plastic covered in stainless steel and internal steam wand is a rubber-like material **Q: Is it possible to froth a silky crema for latte? The wand has only capuccino option which puts lots of air in the milk.** A: I find the cappuccino option produces bigger air bubbles than I like yet the milk isn't hot enough. So I use the hot milk option instead - I first dip the wand deep into the milk to heat the milk through, then I lift the wand up at a 45degree angle near the surface of the milk to produce the kind of microfoam I like.
